Wow all really. Dont bash products you have not used. dont bash others either for using diff way. If you see a problem with their plants ask what they use and make suggestions. a botanist friend of mine uses fresh cut yard grass dog shit veg matter coffee grounds and a few other things composted to grow his plants in and grows the best outdoor weed you will ever smoke. he would never buy ferts or nutes. that is his way and it works. do what works for you since 1 thing diff can have a diff affect(lights air ect). only thing i can say is no matter what you use flush your plants to keep roots healthy then the whole plant will be happier. i look at it this way if i can get 3oz of grade A buds and spend $10 on feeding them then its right on. if i spend $30 and get 3.3 oz and get same quality it isnt worth it. but if i spend $30 and get 4oz then yes its worth it. besides we shouldnt be growing for bud size but quality ill take smaller nugs over bigger ones if i have to smoke 3 times as much to get same benefits from it. so meet up and compare the only way you can. touch density taste affect. Until ive smoked yours i cant judge it the way it deserves to be. peace and love all.

You raise a good pount, there are a million ways to get to the same end goal. My thing with AN is the cost, marketing materials, and issues with state departments who've tested AN products.

Plus if rather always try to do things with the most economically efficient way as possible. Counting medium, nutrients, and my most expensive part, electricity, an ounce costs me less than $10. Really considering I can sell each ounce at $200-280 depending on how I break it down, that's quite a healthy profit margin. I am excluding the cost of my time, but That Would Be Much More Difficult To Come Up With An Actual Number.

Eta I could do it more cheaply but it would add time costs and more of my labor. Fertilizer cost is about a $1 for a 2-3 ounce plant start to finish

I'm calling bullshit. No one in their right mind, especially a 'botanist', would grow any indigestible crop with dog poop. There is a reason why horse, cow and chicken manure are used in gardens, it's because they don't eat meat.

Yea I'd never let dog shit back in the day near my vegetable garden or compost pile. I thought that was common knowledge. I missed that first go round.

Yeah, you'd certainly think a 'botanist' would already know this ;).

At this time, do not apply compost containing dog waste to food crops. (Studies are still ongoing as to whether dog manure compost that has reached 140 degrees F or more can be used safely on vegetable gardens.)

Aptus is learning from AN.
Ha, I seen my first Aptus line up at a store called Northern Lights...Price was sky high. They learned and then some. I will say I have used all low cost line of nutes from AN, FoxFarm, GH, Nectar for the Gods and many more. I have never had any issues from any of them. I am neutral on all nutes but definitely wouldn't pay 100.00 for a 12 ounce bottle of anything, thats laughable.
