Hey peps......I was just wondering if anyone out there has experience with AN PH Perfect products? They claim if used it will maintain your PH within proper ranges for up to a week.....yes that's right now more checking ppm or ph just throw those matters away ....no more checking ph twice a day ......I started using it in a dwc bucket and I haven't really checked the ph the whole grow I've just changed bucket ever 5-6 days and I really haven't had signs of ph issues or anything but just to see if checked it earlier I changed it 3 or 4 days ago and it was reading 6.9.......this is definatly not in the proper range for dwc....just wondering anyone's experience with these products I'm using the micro grow bloom 3 part.......

I had a horrible experience with Advanced Nutrients.

I've been growing for about 2 years now. Set up is two grow tents, using soil, one for flowers and one for veg. I'd previously used Foxfarm (for the first few years before that, I'd used Miracle-Gro, which was awful). Under Foxfarm, my Buba Kush plants yielded between 3/4 ounce to 2 ounces per plant. I use soil as a medium, and light the plants with two 150 watt HPS lamps per tent.

Using the 3 pack from Advanced Nutrients and set up a grow with the same clones I'd used with Foxfarm. The results were DISASTROUS. Average yield went to about a quarter ounce per plant, a 65% reduction in yield. Sincerely, I'd gotten better results with Miracle-Gro than with AN.

Upset, I emailed them to my money back. To get their alleged "100% money back guarantee," you have to call the grow line. I called the grow line, they don't offer money back at all! "get the refund from the retailer where you bought this from." I'd purchased the product two months before, and my retailer (amazon.com...not exactly a fly by night company) wouldn't honor any returns. The response from AN? "Amazon.com's not an authorized seller so we can't speak to the quality of the product you purchased."

The guy on the line then offered to send me more product. When I explained how their product had decimated my plants and how I just want my $38 back, he kept saying "yeah, I respect your decision, but we're awesome. If we suck, would we have 23 Phds? I've been doing this for years. We're great and know what we're doing. You wouldn't have heard of us if we suck." For real, the guy went on a 5 minute rant about how great AN is.

When could finally get a word in, I calmly explained how AN nutes decimated my plants and severely reduced my yields. The guy blamed my commercial soil and said "oh sure, our nutrients in commercial soil WILL CAUSE NUTRIENT LOCK and can harm your plants." Um, isn't that what Ph Perfect Technology was created to avoid? I mean, if the product is so good, why doesn't it work in any soil? Sure, switch nutes and subtle changes would be expected. But a 65% reduction in yield when I switched from Foxfarm? "Oh yeah, Foxfarm is created to soil like the stuff you'd get at Home Depot so you would get better results from them under that setting." um? Really?

To close, I asked again "So if the retailer won't honor your 100% money back guarantee?"

"oh, don't worry. They'll get your money back. Or call me and we'll give you some advice and help you out."

WOW. In just one call, Advanced Nutrients refused to honor their "100%" money back guarantee, they explained away how their product nearly killed my plants, let me know how this claim of PH Perfect Technology is a scam, and told me I'd get better results with a competitor's product.

I guess I went through this experience so you won't have to.

A lot of growers I follow have left AN's products behind. I personally never used their stuff, but the future doesn't look good for them.

Imo the fast you fix the problem the better but I got out of hydro a long time ago
I've been growing for yeas"QS

they will be just fine, if they weren't theyd let you know. I've been using the line for three years now I don't check anything. The litre set of base cost me 30 bucks, and will save me a couple thousand so 30 bucks well spent in my book.
This is my Apollo 13 X Pennywise 42 days into flower .....it just seems to me the flowers should be bigger

how many ml per litre are you at? 4? Flowering time can vary by plant. What type of overall setup do you have? Light ventilation etc.

IMO that plant looks great man some strains don't bulk up a lot til near the end

Yeah 4 ml per liter so I'm in a 5 gallon bucket with 3 gallons of water....3x3x51/2 grow tent........600w mh/hps 350 cfm exhaust fan carbon filter.......I mean she looks great smells great absolutely covered in resin even the bigger leaves.....let me ask you something why does advanced nutrients want you to use equal parts the whole way through your grow? I mean doesn't make sense to shy away from heavy doses of grow during flowering? So in a 5 gallon bucket with 3 gal of water I'm running 48 ml of micro grow bloom ......that much grow during flowering doesn't make sense to me

I have no idea either, I've used them as directed but this time I'm backing off the grow toward the end seeing how that goes, though I've seen no I'll effects from equal parts all the way through. If you want one that's bloom only the sensi bloom two part is about the same price, I think a litre set of sensi grow and bloom is around 50 bucks, though both arent required each is stand alone
