His comment about electrolytes was a reference to the movie "Idiocracy" in which crops were failing because the society of morons that had developed were convinced that watering crops with a sports drink because "it has electrolytes and stuff" was better than giving the crops water. Naturally, giving plants a sports drink isn't good for them. Uncle Ben's insult was intended to imply that nikk2051 was an idiot on par with the citizens in the movie. It's not a very nice thing to do, but that's who he is so no one really expects more from him.

nikk2051: as far as your question goes I would say the line you're asking about would be fine. I would just point out two things - first up I doubt you'll need the Cal Mag unless you're certain your strain is going to need a good deal more than most strains do. Advanced Nutrients actually makes the Sensi Cal Mag for solving the deficiencies in other brands. Their base nutes should have enough for you already. Second, just so you're clear this isn't an organic nutrient line you've listed.

Not a thing wrong with that, I'm not an organics guy myself. Advanced Nutrients does have organic nutes if that's what you want, their Iguana Juice and a few others are all organic.

The response I had pretty much sums up the stupidity, the gullibility, of the typical noob. Doesn't know or care about plant nutrition, can only recite some worthless chart or snake oil. 2 posts, 14 bottles of watered down snake oil and he's asking if he left anything out? It's hilarious! Been observing it first hand for 15 years.

3rd, there's no such thing as killer seeds. They're all knock offs of knock offs and have been since the 70's. There's another racket you noobs fall for, "designer genetics".

no such things as killer seeds hugh? so you just grow bagseed then right and not buy your genetics? So me or anyone else is wrong for growing with AN? Lets see how little we can give our plants and see if its still dank? Why not give it more if it WILL help? Yes you can let it damn near grow itself but I have been using AN now and am harvesting my next batch of plants now. Buds are all around better to the eye and nose. Well see in about a month how the lungs like them.
