price? so what. all the watered down nutrients I've used performed as expected, just awesome. who cares what the cost is, its all about the consistent results, ease of use. anyone seen the mark up on diamonds, gold, oil, furniture, hell, you could build your own table for pennies on a dollar right, make your own bio fuel, mine your own gold too for the savings win lol
One branch from one plant will pay for months of watered down hydro nutes without ever handling pure basal salts, breathing their dust, or making errors.

I've had good results with AN pH-perfect Sensi coco. Saves me so much time that I think it's worth the price. Besides, the other products are just as expensive over here.
naysayers prolly dont even know AN is good only when used to grow the famous elusive strain called Hydro:roll:

I use it sometimes but mainly GH Floranova Grow. I don't use the bloom formula because it's too unbalanced. The grow formula is more like a standard hydroponic nutrient. I just use it for all stages. It's a lot more concentrated than AN and only one bottle to buy instead of 2 or 3. It has pH buffers too like AN does. The high dilution of AN is a little annoying. With both parts you have put about 8 mls total per liter of water. With the GH I just put 3 ml and it's about 1300 ppm. 3 is a lot easier than 8. Weird thing is, the bottle of GH costs about the same as just part A or B of AN. So basically you're paying about twice as much for the same amount of nutrients. Plus you're lugging more bottles around because it's so much more diluted. My advice is FloraNova Grow, sweet and simple.

The only extra thing I use is potassium silicate in early growth to strengthen stems. I don't use that in flowering because I'm concerned about the possibility of silica particles getting inhaled during smoking if it gets incorporated into the trichome material, which would be bad for the lungs of course. Whether or not that would actually happen I don't know but why take the chance? It may be like in the UK when they were putting glass powder on weed to make it look crystallized. Everybody was getting lung disease from it.

That Cogo's part B in the video says the P is from phosphoric acid. I wonder why they use that instead of a salt like monopotassium phosphate. Seems like it might make an acidic pH unless there's something alkaline in part A.
