Advice for a motivated youngster

If you haven't noticed I've been posting a lot in your forum. And guess what? I have another question.

Like yourself I also live in the Pacific Northwest (Washington is my local). I plan on giving the THC foundation a ring to see if I qualify for medical marijuana. I've had knee problems since I dislocated my knee at 14 years old. I've dislocated my knee several times since then and have had two surgeries. The first was years ago and one of the surgeries was today. I hope I qualify!

I've been smoking weed consistently for 10 years now and was always interested in growing. As soon as I moved out of my parents I started growing. Anyways I'm definetly not an experienced grower with only 3 grows under my belt. With that being said the quality and yield of my first grow exceeded my expectations. It rated fairly well compared to all the dank that circulates the PNW and it sold easy. I went from being interested to absolutely hooked after that first grow. When i'm not growing im studying as much as I can. I want to do this for the rest of my life and I am extremely committed to cannabis.

What advice would you give someone like me? Should I pursue becoming a legal patient? If I dont qualify then what? What do you think about Oaksterdam University's school? I'm seriously thinking about moving to oakland to take their semester class.

I know I'm going to do this legal or not (it's not about the money by any means) but I would like to avoid jail/prison.

Oh yeah and I'm still very young

wouldnt the fines be stiffer if you were caught selling when you're supposed to be using for medicinal use?

i personally would pursue the medical aspect of it first and go from there... i'm from australia, so sorry if i've missed the mark completely..

I did say it's not all about the money when really what i meant was its not about the money at all (even though I'm broke as a joke). I would like to find a legal way to make an income. I'm sure I soon will have a job I'm just going through some surgery right now. But you never know what will happen in the forthcoming years. Laws against marijuana have become more lenient in these parts. Maybe there is a future on the legal side for growers and other medical aspects (such as the opening of despenseries in other medical marijuana states such as WA and ORE opening new jobs). Subcool seems to have found a way to be legit in the U.S.A.'s fucked up corrupt legal system. Maybe I should take a photography class, work on my writing skills, grow dank, and get involved in helping medical patients. There are ways around it and if anybody knows its sub.

Sub you've been there done that. I dont know your story other than that what I've read on RIU. I've seen posts where you mention you got locked up, that you're originally from georgia, and you make hints that you grew for yield/profit in your younger years. You've got experience and the truth is I dont know any other growers. I dont know who to look to for advice.

I know I sound like an ass kisser but you've grown forever and you live in the PNW and you do what I dream of.

Youve had surgery and constant knee problems so you should qualify with no problem. Oregon is very liberal if you cant get it in washington so moving next door could be a option?

dougfresh if you post on this site somone allways helps out. What more do you need?
I know. Internet growing sites, books, movies, and the actual process is all I have to gain experience. It's all very good. I'm just saying I dont have any connections or friends who grow just a couple who have tried. For now this is fine.
