Advice for new setup

Hey guys, I'm currently growing in stacked rubbermaids. More info here https://www.rollitup.org/stealth-micro-cab-growing/513599-first-grow-rubbermaid-cfl-auto.html

I'm hoping after my current grow, I am able to fund a new setup.
I am very interested in LED lights, specifically, the PRO-GROW 180W.
I am planning on getting a growtent, the DarkRoom II Pro 60, its 2'x2'x5'3

I am still debating if I should stick with soil, or maybe upgrade to a DWC/Bubbleponics. (if budget allows)

I would like to maximize my yield. So I was thinking if I should do 1 plant through Scrog. or 2 plants through LST tie downs, or, 3-4 SOG.

First, do you guys think the LED will satisfy the tent? I am aware that the LED is low on heat, so the fans won't be that much of a problem, as long as it's quiet.
Second, what would you guys recommend for maximizing yield?

I know I am still a couple months off from harvesting, but I like to plan ahead, and save as much money as I can to support my next upgrade.
Much help appreciated!

Edit: Can a Mod please move this to the "Grow Room Design sub-forum" please?

DWC/bubbleponics would be nice also faster growth, i would do 2 plant scrog instead of 1 to fill net faster ,I stick to HIDS, dont know on LED but some guy that lives locally did a led hid experiment on youtube, look up Mr blue goo Led experiment, and he does a side by side of leds and hids, funny guy and very informative, although the DWC is fairly easy even for a begginer, depending on your experince you might want to think about that im still in the transition of going hydro Just for faster growth not cause of quality they both have there pros and cons,,,,,,,,Stick to what you know and master it

Also when considering maxing out yield keep in mind you need to have lighting, ventilation, veg time, and nute schedule in check

In veg, ive never seen a reduced yield switching from 24/0 to 18/6 although i did see more stretched plants in 18/6 perhaps during the dark when the tend to grow alot,I now do 20/4 just cuz i like for my plants to get some rest from light, and to cut on pg&e a lil

Thanks. Ill look deeper into dwc/bubbleponics. Still currently on my first grow, and learned a lot so far. "stick to what you know, and master it" <-- I'm definitely going to follow up on that advice!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEXW8wb7jeY heres a vid that helped me get started theres tons of other vids but heres 1,when doing any feed program you always wanna start light if it your first time with that strain once you get a general idea of how much a plant can take it makes it very easy i would start with a couple of these single bucket 1st jus cuz if you mess up in hydro its very costly not as forgiving as soil, and because if you do a table or anything based on 1 res, if your mix goes wrong in that 1 res thats your whole crop to shit so its better so start with the single buckets then work your way from there,im going to start my first single bucket grow as soon as im done with my current grow

Now that i mention it i think it would be cool to run 2 stain 12 plants total and do 6 bubbleponics and 6 soil to truely see the diffrence ,I think im going to be doing that instead, this week im going to go get the supplies and start it im going to get some more clones nxt sunday and ill start veg with the buckets that way when im done with this grow ill have plants at 6 weeks veg ready to go:) 6 hydro 6 soil

ill take step by step of my set up and what i do so you can get a general idea wont be for another few weeks for that tho i wnna run at least 1 feed before i put it up

i watched his video did you notice that his power meter is in the grow room? how does he keep the power company out of that room? Dont they want to check the meter? the controls on his experiment were sloppy as he set up the leds but didn't set up a hps and had plants in multiple stages throughout the room, most started @ another grow site.
