so I have a problem. I have 8 clones in a 4x8 tent with 2 600w lights. I’m useing roots organic soil. I also have there nutrition line but have yet to need it. Strictly giving the plants water from a small boy with the recent addition of recharge. This is my first grow. So obviously I’m trying to do a Scrog. The four larger plants are normal clones. The smaller four are re veg. I have been having to really for down the larger ones and they are filling there side quick. Should I mix up the plants to even it all out? Or just flower when the larger ones are ready and maybe lower the net on the other side?

I would lower that net until it’s about a 1/2 inch from top of plant. Then start training the branches weaving through the screen. Once you’re about 2/3 full, flip and continue to tuck for the first 2-3 weeks. Just my .02

Id mix them up and also put the plants in the corners so they grow towards the middle (and the light). Maybe even place a block of wood under the smaller ones to even the canopy out.

I have concerns in regard to the net you have, it seems to be more of a support structure for wrapping outside plants in. Having spent some time in the Scrog thread in the Advanced growing section, most (myself included) use something more solid in structure like wire mesh. Its then an easy thing to just keep tucking any growth under (I'm not a weaving fan). Many, again myself included, switch to flower to early and my advise would be not to flip until the net is full. Keep tucking until stretch is finished.

I flipped to early and had a lot of wasted space and robbed myself of... IDK 3 or 4 oz's??. pic supplied for reference. (4 plants in a 3.5 X 4 net, 600W and yielded a pound dry)

Get the net on them now before it's too late to scrog. Defoliate them so you can see what your at, tuck, weave, zip tie the branches under the net and guide them where you need them. Then take a good hard look at them in a days time and decide where to go from there.
Because if you don't do this you ain't scrogging your just using the net as a plant support, two totally different things.

I don’t really have much to bend a weave on a few of the smaller plants. Do I just do it anyway and take the loss on them?

Take what branches you do have and tie them down horizontally then lower your net all the way to the top of the canopy so you can weave the new growth through it.

My small ones are at the tallest point 19 inches from floor. The large ones are 24 and that with my already useing ties on them

What I do is I tie them down to the pots let them grow a week or so and tie again. I always give it time to grow up before I tie down again. Hen if you want to use a net you can sit it down on top once you have a few side branches off the now horizontal branches. I’ve done scrog and no scrog. Not much difference except you can fill in every square inch of the tent a little more evenly.
