I've been running my lights 24/0 for my entire grow which is really close to finishing. I was wondering if I can turn off my main light source and just leave my supplemental lights going till harvest I'm thinking 10 days tops. Here's a pic with just supplemental lights on what's your thoughts. THX 20171210_192525.jpg

I'd keep It on blast and lower the main light a cpl inches the last 10 days.

To much heat temps are staying between 80 and 85 with all lights blasting. I was thinking that a sudden switch in light would kick them into overdrive as they near the end of the cycle sorta like a photo plants does outside when the days get shorter

Yeah that would probably work better for photos than autos. Autos have their own life schedule and will be done when done

If anything decreasing the energy given will probably decrease swellness of calyxes and more clear trichomes than cloudy to amber. Hence running 24 on compared to 20 or 18 on. Obviously if you are running em 24 on, u r converting more energy running them longer
In the long run I think if u chop in 10 days and run your lights steady at 24 on producing more energy, then your plants will be more ripe and plump giving em 100%
Compared to only giving 70% and less plump and swole in those 10 days

Thx for the reminder about autos. This is what happens when I start over thinking things

Id pull some of those dying fans out and maybe move some of the small lights to the sides more, try to get some light underneath to boost lower development...
