Aero garden help for a noob.

I guess I had the brilliant idea to go to bed bath and beyond one day and buy an aero garden, went to a seed bank and bought some feminized seeds. I guess the problem I'm having is I've never grown MMJ before. Trying to ask some grower friends for help and they are soil growers, or going to my local hydro store and not getting a definite answer to questions in frequently asking.
I was hoping that by starting this thread I can get answers/thoughts on what's going on and what I can do to fix the problem at hand? It seems like everytime I turn around something is coming up and happening.
Reading others forums I see people talking about grow journals so I guess I'll be having you guys help me with that! I have some pics and I'm dealing with stem rot at the moment. Have some organic treatment I'm using in the plants. I've found some tricks from reading others forums. Will have to fix my system. (Trying not to spend to much money on the aero garden as I'm getting a tent.)
Any and all help will be appreciated. As I'm new to growing and would love to learn. Teach me your ways and help me grow some beautiful plants

I don't see anything wrong from the pics you posted. I would clip off any leaves that curl up into the grow medium like the 1 you have in pic 549.5 KB.

I've had a bunch of people tell me stuff was wrong so I figured I would ask. I transferred the plants over to a tent. I would post videos but this site prevents me. If any of you would like to see progress add me on snapchat: starfoxlady or massroots starfoxlady.

I've cut the leaves off that were curling and it's making the plant grow out like a bush they are a lot more healthy from switching them to the grow tent.

Can't tell anything from that pic but it doesn't look good. As I mentioned earlier clip everything dropping down or touching the hydroton otherwise it's a recipe for disaster. I would also cover up that area around the stem with hydroton as that area should not be exposed to light. The hydroton looks like it's completely soaked how much are you watering and is any water coming out from the hydroton? Any big swings with the PH since this happened?

I trimmed her yesterday to clean all the branches up. Was scared to kill her. It's on a hydro system so it waters itself? I've been treating it with some organic disease killer. Just in case it's mold.
And the PH is the same. I was checking it every six hours because I was worried. I had someone tell me it is possibly a root ball?

And your saying for Me to put the clay pebbles over the plastic casing? I guess I'm confused when you ask how much I'm watering when it's a hydro system. Lol

I originally thought you would be growing using a LP Aero system. I have only grown using a self built LP aero system as I've had nothing but success with it. Well at least now I know why your hydroton looks soaking wet. Got to clip anything that comes even close to the hydroton. Don't worry about clipping them the plant will be healthier when you take the bottom leaves off as the plant grows.

Yes I would cover the plastic casing with hydroton. How do the roots look?

Still can't figure out what that white shit was.
that happens with DWC or and growing that the roots get suspended in water. I have seen that before and its actually more root tips developing on the bottom of the stem. Just keep your water temps low like 68-70F and you will be fine. The second most important thing is enough dissolved oxygen in the solution. good luck
