Also thinking of purchasing an aerogarden . I've seen the aerogarden deluxe with the taller light (24 inches tall) I have a lot of questions about type of seed as far as how high it grows nutrients to use and lighting hours. I will stay posted to see the journal.

Hey reddmann, a lot of people are recommending the AK's and Big Bud because they grow so low. But the main thing is investing i a couple of more grow lights to keep them short and bushy so they don't train themselves to grow tall in search of more light.

Btw BxBaller, What strain are you growing? I also just saw this strain called lowryder on another thread it sounds like it was made for the AeroGarden...

I know I saw those, Thats what I think I should invest in. Im just using bag seeds, I got 5 of them growin, just so I can see if I get any females. Ill take the guys out seeing as the Aero can only handle 2 full grown plants before the pump starts to clog. So your saying get an extra light so it will grow bushyn instead of tall? what kind of light?

I'm still doing research on lights, But I'm thinking HPS lights are the way to go. Also, what are you using as far as nutrients go? I hear bad things about the AG nutrients. Everyone is saying they burn plants...

there are some guys on here that have used the AG nutes, although most recomend buying some hydro nutes, just cust the dosage back I think the the AG calls for 2 tablets in the res I have read using just one or even half of one will work, havent done it personally

I've heard very mixed reviews on the AG nutrients, but I haven't heard anything bad about Fox Farms organics, or if you don't care about organic you can go for General or DutchMaster hydro nutrients. I would rather go with the FOx Farms because it seems like a toss up with the AG nutrients. I also keep hearing that you should wait a week after sprouting before you start feeding the plants nutrients... Any thoughts bigd?

I remember reading a Journal where someone has used the Aerogarden Nutes al the way through, I do think I will cut back on the dosage, because I do so a little damage. Ill post a pic in A couple of days.

I've got a successful Aero Garden grow now for almost two weeks. I started out using some of the AG nutes but cut back to distilled water after noticing what I think is a little nute burn. The babies are still young and I don't want to damage them. What pH's do you guys keep yours at? I'm at about 6.3 right now, 74 degrees, 40% humidity with a little fan blowing on them and the best bubbler I could find for aeration. 5 white widow babies starting to get big finally. The waiting is the hardest part.

Yo BxBaller... Check out this FAQ on lights... It should help you make a decision on lights. But you really should get a couple of extra lights, at least when you invest in something like lowryder or a similar strain. It will increase your yield a lot.GROWFAQ

your ph at 6.3 is a bit high 5.8 is good definetly keep it 6 or less, that may be the reason for the spots you are seeing on your plants

And thats why your yeild, assuming you even make it to flowering. Will taste like poop when you smoke it. The fan is a good idea, keeps circulation in the closet like the plant would normaly get outside.

It will get you high, but taste pretty bad, and very harsh. But thats also depends on Drying, and curing. So in a way there is a little science to it. I do agree tho that there are some things that people don't have to make souund so complicated.
