i have a discount-hydroponics catalog and they have pretty good prices. they have everything i would need to make a system. only problem is that i dont know how to make one.
Can some1 give me some plans on how to make a 10 pot system running off one resevoir.

i love the things i'm hearing about aero. but i'm kinda interested in ebb&flow even though i know little about it. i'll be more specific on what i want to do. i want to clone and veg in a refrigerator. i figure 1-2 weeks for clones to root plus about 2 weeks veg. time i should be able to harvest 10 plants every 4 weeks. i want 10 buckets to run off of 1 resevoir. it doesnt matter how many gallons the resevoir is.i think that in order for me to harvest every 4 weeks i will need to make 2 of these systems. i need to know how much area 1 400w hps will cover and how much 1 600w hps will cover so i know how many lights to purchase. i've heard alot about "chronic" so i plan on growing this strain.
I've tried to google for some plans but have yet to come across a plan that tells me how to make a system like the one i've explained. please help me out.

FIrst off, I've read about chronic and it sounds like an awesome strain if you want to produce in mass!! 400 W HPS is ideal for 3x3 area. 600 W is ideal for 4.5 x 4.5 area.

If you want to harvest once every 4 weeks, you will need two flowering set ups, just like you mentioned. That is ofcourse assuming that the strains you are growing flowers in 8 weeks.

You mentioned all this stuff about buckets. If you want to do flood and drain the easiest way to do it is get a flood tray, resevoir, water pump, air pump, air stones, flood and drain kit. By using one tray, you are not flooding indavidual buckets, but just one whole tray that your pots sit inside. This is much simpler than connecting your water hose to all these different buckets; you just connect it to one tray.

Also, with the tray method you are not restricted to a certain number of plants to grow. YOu can stuff as many pots in the tray as humanly possible. Let me see if I can find you a post on how to build this.

with the flood and drain system it sounds like the flood and drain method your talking about would be great for SOG. with me tryin' to harvest every 4 weeks how long should i veg my plants for. i think flood & drain is the method i'll be growing with but i will need everybodi who is able, to help me out with this. with knowledge that you guys have, my succesful grow will be your succesful grow.

so you will have 2 gow ops going at the same timed right as 1 grow wouldnt be able to be harvested in 4 weeks as almost all strains 6 or more weeks just to flower

there will be 2 flood and drain systems. halfway through each flowering period 1 system will be harvested and replaced with clones. whole system 1 is 4 weeks into flowering system 2 is being harvested and vice versa. i still want all of you guys suggestions and some experience you may have had or seen .

Hey dude, for starters I found this site....
How do I make an ebb & flow hydroponic system?
This is a basic ebb and flow you can vary it in many different ways. My res is not attached to my tray, like the one on this site. Plus my tray is much bigger than my res. Use these plans as a base and improvise a little to make it to fit your needs.

Ask questions too, if you need to.

Peace

Ok I still dont get it.To harvest every 4 weeks like you want with this setup you need 4 tables as each flower table will need 6 weeks to complete the flower cycle so you have to space 2 flower table have 1 veg table and 1 clone table?? But to harvest every 4 weeks with 2 tables wont work.Closest thing to that would be an AK-47 or 48 strain which will be 48 days which is more then 4 weeks. So youd have to have a bumber flower crop to do that ie the second flower table then rotate the setup
