Looks like you have everything under control so they should bounce back soon, as long as the new growth areas are still looking good and don't look burnt like the other leaves you should be good. Glad to see that your figuring everything out and I hope to see that everything turns out ok. Talk to you later for now, bye.

nice setup you got going, I thought I would leave you with some advice in the aero world, yes you can run the sprayers 24/7 but to really get the most out of aero you need to let them roots breath for a few, I use a cycle timer for my cloner (i diy mine) that sprays 1min on 4mins off, plus later down the road you want your root mat to breath. also your rez temps should be in the 65-70 F above 74 and your going to be asking for something to start growing in your rez water which would affect your ph among other things. and if you have to use a HID for cloning make sure it is as high off the plants as you can because they wont need that intenisty untill their about 1' tall and then your ready for bloom if your soging. I'm no expert but have gone thur some of these issues already.

Hello  all,

Its been snowing the last couple of days, and is really cold outside, but me ladies are nice and warm and so am I =)

Hi offgridgrower, thx for stopping by and cheers:mrgreen: for the valued advice, I will definitely try to get a short cycle timer for my next grow. Its runing up to X'mas, you never know I might get one for X'mas ,and have one running when these little ladies are ready to be moved into flowering.
(it makes perfect sense, it saves electricity and in time it should pay for itself =)!)
Live in a place where the temp is low, so can't really justify getting a water cooler, but will keep a close eye on the rez temp, to aviod problems. I might even have to deploy the tank heater to keep to rez temp above 65F at ligths off.

Back to the Update:

The little clones have slowly recovered, new growth showing on all, I have raised the Propagator closer to the MH, and they seems to like it:lol:.
**regarding the little clone experiment from last post,
[ the two clones have not rooted yet, but there are little signs of bumps comming, it 's leaf are very healthy and coping extremely well with the MH (no dry up leaf, no curl), gonna wait and see how they do, if sucessful------> next grow I will clone with no 'dome'.

Here are some pic below.

This is the re-covered Bleuberries clone @ day 20, at the end of week 1 veging

This one below is the recovering Bigbud clone:

the pics below shows the same clone (another Bigbud clone), left pics was from last update, and right pic is taken today, not much difference , but it is getting better!

Another Bleuberries clone below, recovering fine, new growth starting to get faster each day

An overview of the lot of clones =)

As I said eariler I have raised the Propagator closer to the MH, 2 pics below showing the setup:

Mamas on the left, clones on the right
(Mamas) the front NL, (2 Mamas on the back row) back Left Bigbud, back right Bleuberries

Hopfully they all have got over the shock, and start their explosive growth soon, have up till 6 DEC ( 2 more weeks) to do their vegging, then flowering it goes.bongsmilie

OFF TOPIC::cuss:
just a pic showing a sign of flowering in the other enclousure, as I have mentioned in the previous post.
This grow journal is for the little clones, from start to finish, I just wanted to post this pic up to share with you all, as i am overjoy to start to see some flowers:mrgreen::mrgreen:, I wont make a habbit of it, as I know it could be confusing for people who is reading this.

both pics are bleuberries in 12/12 cycle week3 day1 EC1.5 MultiEM 1ml per litre, under 600w HPS.

Hope you enjoy this, ..............I have to go out now, ...X'mas shopping.....:???::???:.all this people like ants on the streets, crushing, pushing:finger:, I rather stay home and have a toke.............bongsmilie. Any how..................untill next time.......................................:peace:

Sorry for the confusion, the larger plants next to the clones are not flowering, it is under 18/6 still in vegiative state under MH.

the pics of the flower are from the other enclosure, running 12/12, under HPS.

hope this clear things up a bit!

Hi folks, been a week since last update, hope you all are doing well, if you got it ...light it...sit back and enjoy...bongsmilie

The pics might not be as good as normal, as i have loan out the good camera, but this will have to do.....(will have it back next week)

All of the clones have bounced back, and growing well.

I have put the smaller ones closer to the MH, and the bigger one further away.

Some pics below:

The smaller ones:

The bigger clones are around 9 to 10" inches tall
as shown below

Smaller ones are around 5 to 6" inches tall,
as shown below

And just a pic of the roots, they look a bit brown, but no to worry, as I have just change the rez, the brown is the RootStim. the little babies loves it!bongsmilieIt will be gone by tomorrow:mrgreen:

OKAY, rememebr the little experiment from last time, I have taken 2 new clones just before lights off under the MH and pop them in overnight, without the dome.

They have now rooted, it takes a couple of days longer without the dome, but no signs of leafs curling up or dry out, just nice and healthy, so next time I will do all the clones without the dome.
two pics of the two clones below.

It would seems, everything is back on track, looking good to move into 12/12/ cycle on 6th Dec 08 :mrgreen::mrgreen:. I want the clones to be between 8" to 12" tall when it ebters into 12/12 cycle under 600W HPS.

I have just set up where the clones are going to be in during the 12/12 cycle, fill it up with just tap pH7.0 EC 0.0 water, siwtched on the pump and tank heater, so the water will have constant movement to retain oxygen, will add nutes and adjust Ph, a day before the transplant.
Some pics of the set up... please feel free to comment, any suggestions are welcome:mrgreen::mrgreen:. ( I dont have a short cycle timer for this grow , will get one next time round, unless santa brings me one! anyway, will be running the pump to spray roots 24/7.)

top view, with 16 netpots in place:

Pic below, the root chamber, the water will be drained back to the rez below, 4 sprayers

another pic, can see the pump in the rez.

will put better pics on next time when I get me camera back , apologies:roll:

And I almost forgot

Damios :
what your ppm's are at?
PSKY:
I am currently using EC1.2 for both Mamas and Clones within the vegiative enclosure
I am giving the clones and the Mamas (Aqua Flakes A+B) EC 1.2 = 800ppm
on top I add the root Stim.

:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Hope you enjoyed it..................Please feel free to leave comments and suggestions...................untill next time...................bongsmilie.............:peace:

Hi folks,

No pics, just a quick summary, before the next update on 6th Dec which will be entering the 12/12 cycle.

The little clones I have taken on the 3rd Nov (32 days ago) is now all ready to flower been under MH for 1 days shy of 3 weeks, The tallest one is around 12" and the smallest one is 8", they had their ups and downs due to some dome issues, but finally made it .

These ladies ( 4 x NL; 4 x BigBud & 8 x Bleuberries ) will be going into their first day of the 12/12 cycle on 6th Dec The clones have spend 12 days taking roots, 21 days Vegging = total 33 days. I would say without the dome issue I've had and if the clones had the MH all to themselves, then I could get the clone from cuttings and Veg them till 8" tall in 4 weeks (28days) or maybe less.

Anyhow I have change the water in the Amazon 16, and added Nutes EC1.3 AquaFlakes A + B & MultiEm 1ml/Litre, pH5.8, water temp 20C(68F), Ready to go.

The roots will be sprayed 24/7 for the time being, I had news that I might be getting a short cycle time for xmas :mrgreen:. How to switch from 24/7 to ........ 1 min on 4 mins off without causing too much stress is still a mystery to me but at least it is within my reach MUhahah...:blsmoke:

Decided to add a 250W CFL(red) as supplement lighting, to the HPS.
Will post some pics on the 6th Dec update................

...................Untill next tme.....................:peace:...........:joint:

Hey folks,

The 16 ladies are now in their first day of 12/12,

Since they have been moved into the flowering enclosure this morning some have already grown an inch!

Their position are as follows:

NL, NL, BleuB, BleuB

BigB, BigB, BleuB, BleuB

BigB, BigB, BleuB, BleuB

NL, NL, BleuB, BleuB

Some pics:

a pic of the roots, still a bit small but they will fill the whole chamber soon enough.

250W Red CFL is about 3-4 inches above them, as the 600W HPS is abit busy at the moment:cuss:

Hope you've enjot this..........please feel free to leave comments and suggestions............................

Thx offgridgrower, hope it get better from here on, will post the next update with pics on saturday

Trimmed the 16 ladies @ day 13 of 12/12, they are getting too bushy

trimmed off most of the growth on the lower 6 inches of the main stem, any that is not growing close to the main stem gets it too. Allowing the ladies to put all the work up top at the colas.

The ladies are looking a bit bare at the moment, but should fill in a bit for the up comming update.

That all for now folks.............................:peace:

Looking good man, be sure not to trim too much off though, not only does it take the plant's energy away from producing bud and put it to repairing what you cut off, but also the leaves produce sugars that add to the overall taste of the bud. On top of that when the lower leaves are not recieving enough light the plant will actually take their energy and move it to the higher sections naturally, so cutting them off will actually TAKE energy away from your plant, not add to it. Just lookin out, everything looks great.

:weed:Hey Damios nice to see you poping round, and thx for the valued advice, I have left most of the fan leaves alone, and they are filling in nicely.

UPDATE:

This is day 15 of 12/12, the ladies are doing very well, the smallest one is around 14" and the tallest one is around 32".:weed:

I have trimmed them a couple of days ago on day 13 of 12/12, I might have been a bit heavy handed, but they were pushing each other out of the Amazon, a little tidying up is required.

stepping up the nute a wee bit again EC 1.5, ph 5.8, MulitEm 1ml per litre.

Some pics attached, enjoy:weed:
