Afghan Dream

OK, so... This is my second grow and my first grow journal. i don't really know where to begin so i'll just jump right in.

I have ordered my seeds from Vancouver Seed Bank, and have received them no problem. i have just started to germinate, so it will be afew days before i accually have anything to write about. In the meantime, while i am waiting on my seeds to open, i fiqured i would start my thread and do the house keeping, before i really get into deatail. so here we go.

The strain i am growing is called "Afgahn Dream" and is from 'British columbia Seed Company' and sold through 'Vancouver Seed Bank'. i will try to add a pic and link to where i bought it. I am useing a 400w Hps + 1 4ft t-5 for support. I am useing the entire fox farm Schedual and nutrients, though abit harder to find in canada, from what i have heard it's the best. I plan on leaving the plants 30 to maybe even 45 days in veg for extra growth, but will wait untill i see the progress.

PS. One of the pics are of my grow room, while the other is a pic from the site i bought the seeds from, it is supposed to be the starin i'm growing

PPS.. Everyone should feel free to post

So i Started Germinating ten seeds, six of which did so and three are now seedling's. The other three are still to crack(Hopefully). not to much else to report, i have a soil mix which was made up by the local grow shop, so i Won't have to use nutes till flower stage, though i prob will give half strenth in acouple weeks. i have some VERY early pics, not much to see but i am hopeing to keep a complete journel if time allowes me to do so. As always i would love feedback of any kind.

so i'm into about 2 weeks i guess and everything is going fine when mould strikes, i dont really know how to handle the sit but afew on this site said to spray the top soil with a h2o2 mix then put some sand or something on top, i think i will try it in a day when i get more info. other then that problem i think its going ok, though my temp is getting up there so i have to find a way to bring it down, i'm tryin to not have to buy a ac maching but will if i have to. please feel free to place any questions or comments

Just a quick note about the new fan i just bought, it's only a regular shaper image stand up fan, but it has brought my temp from 30c(85f, i think) down to about 28c(84f, i think) so this is happy news for me as my temp is a real issue, and will be in summer. so i know i still have to get some kind of a/c, but i am just waiting till i can find one that dont go in the window for a decent price

It's been about 27 days i beleve sense i put the seeds in the wet paper towel and about 17 since first one germinated, would love to see what people think about how they look. gonna start my Fox Farm feeding schedual next watering so i am expeting some big growth then. the mould issue i had seems to be resolved(thanks everyone who resonded to that other thread) by spraying a weak solution of H2O2. here are some pic'splease enjoy and i hope someone comments one of these days, until then i am writing this for myself i guess, which is good cause i forget everything and this way it is nice to have a record

OK, so even though there doesn't seem to be anyone reading thiis journel i assume there wil be soon once i get further into the grow, so i will keep posting pics, i wish i knew how to post them on the page and not have to upload them, but oh well. It's day 23 and everything is going fine, there seems to be alot of growth happening now and i expect alot more because i have just started useing the fox farm line of nutes i bought. (Almost impossible to get in Canada)i have been seeing abit of curling on some of the leaves so i have posted on a new thread asking the problem, hopefully it is just the strain or something, anyway here are more pics, i can only post 4 at a time so i'll post twice i guess

Thank you for posting. I had to go buy the biggest container of each because the grow shop in my province won't be able to get it anymore because apparinty it isent licensed by government so its not allowed in anymore, or so he told me, maybe just a scheme to make me buy alot, lol. Did you order your's online? are you in the US. i am wondering if i can order them through thier website perhaps

hey everybody.

so i clipped all my plants on the bottom 3 inches or so from the soil today for added air flow around the bottom, i saw a video why this was the thing to do so i decided to try it. i have one plant that seems to be having a ph problem but i cant tell for sure without a ph metre, which i cant afford right now. other then that we are rolling, just one more week of veg(i think ) and then just 45 days of flowering. i will post pics in alittle bit

so it has been alittle from my last post but i've been quite busy, some of my plants still look to me like they are having a ph problem, but untill i can afford a meter, i;ll have to do without. i bought a blower for my room as a way to bring down the temps, however it is way to powerful, something over 2000 cfm, lol, way to big, so now i'm trying to trade it for a smaller one. other then two plants having a possible ph problem, my plants are looking fine i think. i have just started 12/12 light cycle 40 min ago, 45 day flower on these, so i cant wait for that month and a half(plus drying and curing of course). As always everyone who may see this, feel free to post

ok, so i just transplanted a day ago, and the plants are loving thier new space(who woulden't) they are growing bigger all the time and it should only be alittle more till i can tell sex. i am still having issues with ph, but i plan on buying a metre as soon as i can afford to. i tested my water and it came in at 5.0(i know, thats not acceptable, plans are under way to raise the ph) other then the transplant i am just waiting for my flowers to start. wish me luck!

Great looking plants. I am in the US but still kinda new to indoor grows. Done mostly outdoor in the past, but the cop told me to pull em or go to jail and he would pull and smoke them. I dont know what the fox farm schedule is, but willing to learn.

Fox Farm schedual is mutes that Fox Farm makes and they give you a scegual to follow for you grow, it is very effectice, though not cheap
