AFY Test

I am pre-growing a plant I have grown a 100 times before when farming. I just like to keep my skills and memory sharp. Plus if I can find a way to increase production. 5 gallon bucket with Miracle-Gro moisture control with Fertz time released in it 0.18 - 0.10 - 0.10.

Miracle-Gro 24-8-16
I also add 1/2 tsp of of Miracle-Gro all purpose plant food per gallon of water in the all threw veg until the first two weeks of flower for foliar spraying.

1 Tbsp per gallon all the way threw veg until flower time then I up it a little every watering until I see a little tip burning, at this point I back of a 1/2 tsp. and I am set.

The water is not PH, I don't know the PPM's just doing it just like a true out door farming.

All this written down in a log so that way when I take this grow out doors I know were to start from my testing of this strain indoors.

By testing this strain indoors this way I can hopefully get an idea on how it will react and maybe traits that are unique to this strain. After all you don't want to learn this out on the farm with 100 of this growing.

For every one that wants to know they were in veg for three weeks from clone. They just went into 12/12 on 1-6-10

Id lose the MG and go with something more advanced such as Fox Farms Ferts. Although, I have grown with Peters back in the day, with great results. Good luck :)

thanks for your input, but as I said in the start I don't know any grow that would use FF x 100 or more plants out side. It is not cost effective, when doing a farming crop.

Well here we are at week three still running the same nuts and have been bumping the them hotter every feeding. As you can see by the little bit of leaf burn they are running hot. I don't know the ppm nor do ph my water.

I am still foliar feeding every morning and washing off every night.

The last pic is all 4 plants that are blooming

All right so far in the grow this is how things are going.

Week One: 12/12 1/6/10 - 1/12/10
with in the first seven days this strain Affy #10 ended with a 1/4" budsites all the way down the nodes to the main stem.

Week Two: 12/12 1/13/10 - 1/19/10
I now have a couple of shooting stars and the buds have grown to about 1" or so around. I have noticed the the flowers have started to turn amber in color by the end of the 2nd week and the flowers have pulled back a little.

Week Three: 12/12 1/20/10 - 1/26/10
Not much vertical growth in this week, but the flowers now have filled the whole branch up to the main body stem. I have noticed a little growth in the lower flower sites.

Week Four: 12/12 1/27/10 - 2/2/10
Now that the flowering steams are full I have now started to notice new flowers blooming out of the areas were some of the flowers had turned amber. I have also noticed a nice growth in diameter per flowering branch.

Week Five: 2/3/10 - 2/9/10
Some nice girth growing going on in the flowers, all finds of nice new white hairs very were onto of the old amber hairs.

I posted a pic of how close my light is to the top of the plants, I have no problems and it has been two weeks at 4" from the top of the closes plant. The plant is Strawberry Cough, It is another grow thread I have.

Here is the weekly updated pics of the AFFY. As you can see every week this plant is producing some nice size buds of of MG nut.

After every watering she stinks to high heaven, and she is just fishing her second growth spurt. I can wait to see her in last spurt on the main colas.

Like I said I am dual harvesting this plant. I will be taking the first colas around the March 3rd and the last harvest two to three weeks later.

Sorry I'm a little late on posting this week, I was out of town picking up 200 cindy99 clone:bigjoint:

This is the last week before I cut this little forest down. I was going to reveg this plant but as you can see I won't need too.

I have upped it's fuel intake in week 6 to 2 tsp of mg. It real took off and grew almost 4" in week six .
The only thing that happened was a little tip burning but nor damage. it the last week it will only be water and ginormous.

This is not a flush do to the fact that the soil has a but load of nut still in it.

My next grow will be a test of 8 plants 4 using AN nut vs. 4 using HN nut all in DWC
side by side in same grow room, same light, same space.

Well today I chopped two of the main colas that were showing signs of being done with 80% amber all over the colas.

The wet weight trimmed is 86 grams with all the leaves gone and a little steam to hang from left.

maybe oz dry? And I still have 11 more colas to go when they are ready.

well i am done with this grow and I grew 3.8 oz dry total weight. Not bad for a MG grow!!!

The first pic is one of 3 hangers of bud and the other two pics is a last look before she was chopped down, lol

I guess the MG works well enough I had a total of 3.00 bucks in mg nut and and maybe 20.00 bucks in electric, water and other additives.

The local Dispensary that got this wanted more.
