Hello, new to this site. I just bought some equipment for an indoor garden. I bought 2 Waterfarm systems, a Sun Systems Reflector/Hood, 400w MH, 400w HPS, 2 10w LED grow lights, 2 100w CFLs for seedlings.
I am starting with tomatoes just to test it out and get my hands dirty before wasting money on feminised seeds. I am using Flora series nutrients and i am about a month into this tomato plant. It went very slow as a seedling because my basement gets a little chilly during the night time (it is 3 degrees outside).
I am running the pumps mostly 24/7, though i do turn it off for an hour about twice a day. I am on an 18/6 light schedule with the 400w MH and one 10w LED for supplementing the MH.
It seems like its doing very well right now, I will attach some pictures.
* I have never grown anything in my life, soil or hydroponics. This is the first plant i have ever grown, so hopefully this thread will help people make their decision when deciding to get into the hobby.
