Air Cooling with Lights Off?

if im air cooling my lights, should i have the fan on a timer to turn off maybe 1/2hour after the lights go out?? y keep it on if the lights arent on creating heat?

yes yes thanx. what if i have a carbon filter at the end? will the smell just sit sticking up the place until the lights/fan turn on or will the carbon filter still attract the funk??

yes, and u will love the smell too. but if every thing is closed you should be ok. and remember smelly dank means u r doing a great job.

if your lighting system includes a filter then your fan should run 24/7 to keep odours under control. Humidity could also be a problem if you turn your extraction off at night.


i run a sealed aircooled lighting system with separate fan and filter . lights fan runs 12/12 with flowering, exhaust and filter run 24/7 .

gotcha. nice way to keep electricity usage down, i believe i will be doing this setup.
