Been growing these two strains for a month now.. Ak took a big hit by fungus gnats could use a little help with them. The WSS looks great but could also use some
Fungus gnats suck. Hate 'em. When I had them, I used Gnatrol. Worked. Plus I had a fan on the ground blowing up under the plant. All the gnats hung out under the fan (they don't fly very well), and I could Simple Green spray them and wipe them up. I had yellow sticky traps too, and covered the soil with a layer of sand.

I always have fungus gnats, they are very hard to kill off completely, but if you keep the population to a minimum they don't really harm the plants at all. I have been infested for about 2 years with them and never have problems losing plants. I use yellow sticky traps, azamax and mosquito dunks to control them.

Ive used mosquito bits, layers of perlite, yella stickys, and keep a cup of soapy water by my plants..the gnats love the soapy water and it kills em instantly. My AK is from Blimburn seed co. And WSS is from Strain Hunters

Yeah, it's the larvae that are dangerous to the roots. I bought crappy soil once, and think it was that. But you are right, i didn't have any problems with the grow either.
