Yes I tried it back in the day...and a lot of other things that turned out to be old wive's tales. I use organic nutrients, and I don't use any special "flowering" nutrients either. I think most people add a lot of unnecessary and often harmful things. Maybe if you're stuffing them full of chemicals, flushing might help a little, but I doubt it. Most things aren't that mobile within the plant, and what goes up, doesn't necessarily come down. I don't want to argue. I'm merely stating my experience. Everyone has their own system. If it works for you, then please continue. I've learned a lot from many of the experienced growers here over the years, and I've witnessed the debunking of a lot of old theories. It's a beautiful plant, by the way.

Have you tried it? A friend of mine doesn't usually flush but instead the last 2 weeks he gives them a product to boost flowering, it works for the buds but we noticed that the taste was different compared to when we flushed them , last time we flushed for 3 days before harvest, now usually flush a week before or a little less like 5days before harvest.
I'm deff flushing I'll probably do the same flush with plain RO water for like 7 days. Since I'm using fox farms ocean forest. That soil packs in a whole bunch of nutrients

Please don't get me wrong i'm not here to argue but to talk about this and share experience cause we all have our own methods based upon various situations.
So you stated you use organic nutrients, which is fine cause I mainly use non organic more chemical based so more aggressive - yes I admit the use and abuse of using alot of chemicals in the past and then we tested the same strain one flush and one not and yes taste difference was noticable. So maybe due to you using organic nutrients they break down easier and I know they are less aggressive because you are not pumping enhanced chemicals into the plant because of this.
So I also agree with you cause based upon the situation due to the medium used, things can and do change, so fair deal that it works like that for you using organic nutrients ;)

I plan to flush. Not thinking I can flush out what's in the plant, but flush the chemical ferts out, and not feed the plant so the plant uses up what's within the plant and root zone. If you have organic soil, you can't really stop it from continuing to feed. But stopping additional feed 7-10 days before harvest with straight water must be commonplace I would think.

Holy shit dude
She's bulking up and covering herself in heavy frostiness. I took some pics because I want to show you guys how long some of my colas are. Will they fatten up within the last few weeks of flower?

Looking good! And yes they really put weight on the last 2-3 weeks. Sometimes they will out out mutiple sets of pistils so just be sure to chech trichomes and not to rely on the pistils (hairs)

Have you started you're drying/curing research yet? I'm using these with Mason jars for the cure.

That's funny because yesterday I was searching YouTube on curing and drying. I couldn't find anything really. Have you heard of those metal pots there selling with the humidity packs? Are they any good?
I don't know, but Mason jars are pretty widely used. I kept seeing these 2 way humidity packs to keep the RH right in jars of curing bud. Those metal ones are like 20 bucks and you could buy 6 half gallon jars at Walmart for 16 bucks. They both have an airtight seal.

Same thing happening with mine. Ive been feeding tiger bloom 1tsp per half gal w/ ph up and 2tsp of epsom salt ph at 6.4 runoff the same. I just picked up some molasses Today for the next watering. . lady is starting to turn into a granny and is getting old. The cola keeps getting fatter and fatter and them fan leaves are dying off while the cola gets supplemented. Nothing too big to worry about. My girls seem to be more hungry than normal. So I'm just giving her what she wants

Just keep calm get high and continue your feed and water schedule. Im probably about 3 weeks away. I just posted on my thread a min ago with some pics. Im going to double harvest since i didnt lst this time. Flush a week before.24hr darkness. Cut the cola stems when soil is dry. Get the canopy nice and even , lower the lights, feed one week and then flush for a week then 36 hr darkness and then chop the rest

I had the same leaf issues with fox farm, i switched to nectar for the gods, its a bit more indepth but much more complete.
I honestly did not know how much there is to learn. Practice makes perfect and now I can see you learn new things everyday. Wonder how many years you have to have behind your belt
To be considered a master grower. I mean what makes a master grower anyway?a
