What's up guys? Growing some lucca brasi kush and ak48!
First indoor grow here, gotten lots of advice from lurking on here. After being more than a little nervous to post this journal (my grow looks so sloppy next to the great ones on here) I figured I'd share.
3 weeks from germ

Lighting: 600w hps air cooled
Medium: rockwool cubes surrounded by hydroton
Nutes: dutch master gold series grow / AN connoisseur for flower
Supplements: cal-mag+... Foliar spray liquid light
Temps: 80 at lights on and 70-75 lights off
Rez temp: 63-68
Using 4 air stones in main tank and the "waterfall" in the control bucket
Ph has stayed at 5.7ish while ppm is at 500
Both ph and ppm have remained stable for the last 4 days or so. I had some clawing about a week ago, from the calmag(2-0-0) and the nutes together too strong.

Beans were popped on the first.
Would love any help or ideas or some things I'm just missing.
Keep rolling guys and thanks for stopping by.

Oh, and I've got a direct ac vent in the closet and I'm cutting a return air hole in the wall this week so I can shove a carbon scrubber in there and seal the door up for flowering

So the ppm and ph have stayed solid for another consecutive day at 500(@hanna.5) and 5.9 respectively. I guess that's supposed to be what I'm shooting for, right? This is 5 days at around those levels, while adding 1/4 nutes to RO water for top up

Thanks HGL! Here's a shot of some root action.
Also, does this node spacing on the lucca look ridiculously tight or is it just me? Still pretty new to this thanks :)

<Oh, and I've got a direct ac vent in the closet>

Be very careful when messing with hvac air circulation. The mfg. of our house put in an undersized p.o.s. that we had upgraded and the City permits required some very specific duct sizing. NOT because they're jerks, but because messing with them can mess up your hvac system. Resistance, back pressures, intake...

In fact, because of the length of the runs of the ducts - the farthest (65') required a booster fan because of the number of bends, height and width. There's one system for each floor. (I hate it)

At least according to the guy that handed me the bill:) But, I'm from a long line of engineers and I don't doubt it.

Interesting... Thanks for the advice, luckily my roommate used to do ac work so he has a bunch of the stuff we need and way more no how than my search function will allow lol. I'm going to bring this up with him though!

Love it. Search function. Gotta remember that one. Yeah, this house is 3600 sq' and they had 2 - 2.5 ton systems. Due east and west exposure, Central California where it his 110+. Electric bills in the $600's. Our summers are 6 and 7 months.

Ph at 5.9 and ppm at 400. Still confused as shit on the preflowers, just going to wait to see some hairs if they want to peep out. Anyways, I'm switching them to 12/12 on Sept 1. So it's not a big deal
