Pictures will get ya more feed back and give ppl an idea abt wat ur workin with.
I usually veg mine till they are abt 12 inches....

Depends entirely on how much space you have to work with. More space/height equals a longer veg.

Cant help you with the stem bend problem...sounds horrible...hope you get it figured out.

Get clone solution clean the died away put a ill solution on it wrap in tape but not tight just firm sounds like u need to support ur plant. Repeat do not coat the snapped area just add a ill bit. And Osama is right pics pics pics.
