Spoke to Doc (neuro) and he said to cut Gabapentin dose in half ASAP. Appointment tomorrow with PCP.........
I know people hate opioids perhaps worse than gabapentin but honestly I would much rather take an opioid rather than gaba any day and would rather just be pain free au naturale, but alas, life is not what we wish but what we are saddled with. I mentioned my injuries and you have spoken of your troubles here as well, no reason to rehash that shit, however, I forgot to mention during my screaming cursing hatred of gaba that I have recently been put on a fentanyl patch and I love it. Hydrocodone did nothing for the pain and only got me high if I took enough and still the pain was there. Not now, I am on an very low dose patch and the pain relief is absolutely incredible and with none of the mental fog or impairment in the least. I notice nothing mentally, psychologically, physiologically or otherwise except the pain relief.

just a thought

edit: p.s. at least your doc listened to you, mine just kept telling me it wasn't the gaba doing anything like that at all, it was "impossible". I took myself off and proved it and even called the FDA and they told me to fuck off

Of course they did- they work for the drug companies. Just this week the Chump administration hired the former head of Eli Lilly to be the head of the FDA. No revolving door conflict of interest there!

Conflict of interest is simply a forever fact with our govt. We will just have to swallow the shit, don't have to like it. Can't change it really.

If anything else at all gave me relief I would use it as long as it wasn't as horrible and harmful as hydrocodone and oxys and all that. Edit: and addictive /edit

My point was the micro dose I'm on is not nearly as bad as gaba or high dose opioids and provides me with absolute relief. It's awesome and I recommend it highly

I prefer the term 'Criminal'

:bigjoint:
He's not a criminal until our society starts holding him and his ilk accountable for their crimes. Until then he's just another one of the nomenklatura, those who are above the law and not subject to it.

Our country is coming apart at the seams and one of the biggest of those seams is the split between rich and poor.

It is blindingly obvious that our nation has completely forgotten the lessons of the last century and is once again making all the same mistakes, including extreme nationalism and even Nazism, the ascendancy of corporate profits and greed over government and the will of We the People, rampant monopolism, out of control military and police forces, the destruction and outright theft of middle class wealth and prosperity and more.

Sorry, I'll stop derailing the thread- but everyone, left and right, liberal and conservative needs to understand that our divisions are not only tearing us apart but indeed such divisions are the very means by which those in power continue to exploit us for their own gain.

I vehemently disagree; we MUST make our voices heard and demand accountability. The future of our nation and everyone who lives in it is at stake.

The good news is that our medical research establishment is heading up to develop alternatives to opioids for pain control.

I want to reply but I think we are treading exactly where brother Evil said he would never tolerate this thread to traverse. I ain't arguing with you and I agree that we need to fight, it just ain't happening in our lifetimes is all I'm saying. ergo it is a forever fact for us, just the price of admission for living.

and again, given all the options and choices, and seeing as how weed has proven to not be a relief of pain for me as of yet (hence the strain hunting) I highly recommend the lesser of all known evils (no kind of pun or double entendre intended) to me which is the fentanyl. no known side effects or negative effects at all, not even addiction because the dose is so low, literally in micrograms, that it does nothing at all to get me high and I have zero negative effects to my daily life, routine, or mental capacity. In fact, days like today, when my patch runs out and I haven't changed it when I was supposed to, I get to the point where I can't spend 30 minutes in the garden. Brother Evil, I absolutely feel you there. I need to spend a lot more time in the garden now, I am having troubles with veg tent dying off all of a sudden, I think heat is getting to them, hard on the clones, etc. I have a lot going on in flower as well and I can't get shit done, plants are suffering. I have to find a way to get my ass out there and tomorrow will be the soonest the patch kicks in, the only bad thing about them.

My whole point is that fentanyl patches are a wonderful overlooked alternative to typical pain meds when weed doesn't work. Again, I recommend them highly.

I went to change a few buckets and couldn't find many leaves like I pictured and asked about. I had started to flush that plant prematurely and the leaves are just nute deficient in general now, no spots really now. I went ahead and fed because I think I jumped that gun quite a bit.

I also don't think I understand about the light shining through the leaves, perhaps like pinpoints of the white light? I couldn't really tell with the big light on but I don't think that was the case in general. I have checked and rechecked for bugs and there aren't any bugs anywhere. They are getting so close now, it may be moot anyway.

After several operations I've been given a prescription for opiates- and they didn't work nearly as well for me as smoking my own homegrown.

I fear the day when that's no longer true.

fentanyl specifically?? I have tried other opioid meds both prescribed and bought off the street. I have tried to be ultra clear that they have ALL failed miserably at making even a tiny dent in my pain however high I got off them.

The fentanyl is a dream come true for me.

low dose because it's so strong, up to 50 times stronger than morphine, 100 times stronger than heroin.
Hard to kick also, I was prescribed 100mcg patches for months.
Be very careful, not to be Fooked with....

I did my 10 year stint on pain killers; I quit w/subox, I still like my DOC:hydro<~~~not a pun. ill take then if they fall in my cereal.

I think fentanyl is soO concentrated; that is the problem.

why cant they just use some extra binders-or-separate type compound that makes it more time release.

I forget the name, but the one that they are using in heroin. the one that put a cop in the hospital because it got on his skin. that's not a medicine, that's poison that shit is crazyyyy-zeeeee.

I'm adding this image, for the sake of staying on topic.

had a high school friend OD and die on it. Technically they don't make 100mg patches. You mean 0.001mg patches if my math is correct (maybe 0.01mg). You mean 100 MICROgram patches, them fuckers will get you high. I'm on 1/4 that and have zero effect as far as getting high goes as I have reiteratively repeated over and over. I am familiar with it's potency, I was very scared of it at first, and still have an extremely healthy respect for this drug.

The pain relief is so effective that the addictive effects are never achieved because of the extreme minute dosages needed for therapeutic levels. Think LSD.

Fucken mess in the 4x8 but almost cleaned up I will not ever again grow plants this large without a net for support. I moved the circulating fan up higher in the 4x8 and cleaned up the doggie dreams and one of the GG#4 as well as the Blue Harley. I staked up the 3 big plants. Still need to clean up the other GG#4 then going to try and toss trellis net on each side using the stakes to hold up the plants. You will see the loli popping I did all the weak shit that would be larf was trimmed off. It's amazing how much there really was to clean up especially on the GG#4. I also physically moved the plants around to positions I felt were better for light to the plants and to give them each more space. I'm fucking spent was in there for almost 12 hours on and off. I have to take a lot of breaks when working I wear out easily due to illness.

View attachment 4031403 View attachment 4031404

Tomorrow's job will be to clean up the second GG#4 and start getting net up on each side. The net won't be optimal this is a fix to finish this run.

I also made the decision to take down the Hubba Bubba. I raised the COB's and hung the plants with the proper label on each hanger then shut off the lights. Since I'm not really in a hurry for the use of that tent yet I am going to dry them in there. Lights off fans on. When they're done I will clean the shit out of it and reset new pots of dirt and not re use the stuff that's in there now.

View attachment 4031406

And last but not least I was able to spread out the plants in the nursery after taking out the makeshift cloner which was not a success at all lol. Three of the four little cuts will be given to the fairy and the fourth is a cut of my male that doesn't look like it will take which if that's the case there goes that boy as I culled him already because he was too big.

Carfentanyl. It's even stronger.

well I am very fortunate that my injuries weren't much worse. No surgical options were available, no real nerve damage, no paralysis, just broken vertebrae. Lifetime sentence of pain. As soon as I find a strain that relieves that pain I won't mind a bit cutting back on the fentanyl, however, until then, if I want to get out of bed, fentanyl it is. I just picked up a new scrip a few days ago and currently have 40 extra patches because I don't put them on like I am prescribed. That is why I am so impressed with this stuff. No withdrawals, no addiction, such a low therapeutic level is necessary that it may as well be aspirin.

Most of the weed have tried so far has actually had an opposite desired effect. It freaks me out like a panic attack and I can't sit still and I am up moving around constantly working on something and end up causing myself more pain than if I had not smoked. That is why I am chasing indicas, for the couchlock and sedative properties. so far no good. maybe I react to indicas like regular people react to sativas and I need to find a sativa strain that will couchlock and sedate me
