Would you consider buying a VERO after reading through some of the posts?

i always consider V to ground not V across cob- if its gonna arc its gonna arc where there is a 400+V difference and a small gap like between the exposed part of a terminal and the heatsink (which should be grounded)
How would you go about grounding a cob? From the cob to ground or from heatsink to ground? If multiple heatsinks on a string then one ground each, right?

you dont. but your heatsink should be grounded
Right and thanks as always. I know i said it before but youre one damn helpfull guy. Alesh aswell. There is a few on this forum that just dont get tired of helping, and just wont get dragged into the whole troll race and you dont get thanked enough. In the future when everybody grows with led i hope people realize how much of it was made possible by the efforts of you guys.

But by then there is probably some new kinda lighting thingamajig slowly overtaking us. And led guys be like "you cant grow proper weed with bioluminescence, it just doesnt have good penetration" ;-)

It will work and output about 240 watts at 160 LPW, around 50% radiometric efficiency.

FWHM of the red part would be ~107 nm

Cree's 3000K/80CRI for comparison

According to Bridgelux tool @700mA and T_c = 50 °C: 45.3W, ~50 % efficient and 2.625 µmol/J

Wow, that's pretty impressive.

Can you do the same for the BXRC-25E10K0-C-74?

No good deed goes unpunished!

Hey Hybridway! As you know, the Skinny Mo' recently debuted, so I'd say things are going well with product development. While Heaven Bright hasn't blown up and I haven't become a millionaire, I've had the pleasure of acquiring some of the best customers around over the past year. Between their successes and the joys that I get from designing and building these fixtures, I'm happy where things stand and wouldn't have it any other way.

I haven't decided on what my next move will be, although I currently have a few options in front of me. What would you like to see Heaven Bright come out with next?

Thanks for the props, man. I didn't like how some were treating me either but some of that was brought on by me.
Ive had a very hard time logging on to your web page heavn bright.com have you gone out of business?

I've been looking at the new Gen7 Vero V22s. I was hoping to drive 6 with an hlg-320h-c1050. My guess is at 1050c all 6 may not fire due to slight over voltage, but if i dim down to 900ma or so I would expect them to fire up just fine. Of course they would run at lower milliamps as well. The biggest issue I have is trying to locate cob holder/reflector for these. Anyone have a recommendation?

Looks like Kingbrite only runs Vero line and not the V array line that I was looking at. Thanks for the hookup, the power supplies are a pretty awesome price. Wish they had the new ELGs available, they're even cheaper.

Also wanted to say thank you to all who've posted in this thread. I've learned a lot.

What's the general consensus on the best Vero color temp / cri for flowering? I had good results with the gen 6, 4000k, 80 & 90 cri (mixed) but feel they could have been a little more dense. Thanx
