Am I drowning my seedling?

Will this setup drown my seedling since rapid rooters are very spongey I was wondering if having a continuous drip will keep it too moist and not allow enough oxygen for the seed to fully germinate1502067720307922188419.jpg 1502067720307922188419.jpg

I just take the sprayer/tube out of a spray bottle, stick the tube into the Rez and spray a couple times a day, sometimes just once. You should try planting the seed directly into the hydroton next time, it's easier and you avoid any possible problems in the future with whatever you use rockwool, rapid rooters etc. that's just what I read from another thread somewhere and they guys plants took off a lot faster lol I tried it and it works great! Happy growin :D

Nah, as long as the rocks aren't HUGE lol I germed mine in a paper towel untill the taproot was half an inch long and then put about an inch under the hydroton. Fill your Rez an inch above net pot untill you see roots coming out the bottom and then lower Rez level an inch under pot :D

Lol. I feel you on that response....Im new to growing and even my close friends give me dumb answers that usually end with no actual help or useful advice. If you post to a newbie thread and it's not helpful, think about posting. I started growing because I love good herb but also because it's a new industry that will be huge in CA. But before i jump in and start looking at the business aspect, i gotta learn from scratch.

No. The market will be flooded with growers. And, until it's federally legal.
, the IRS could fuck with growers just because our current AG hates the fact that it can't restart it's magical war on drugs. If I decide to start my business it will only be installation and maintenance services for commercial and home growers. I'm struggling to keep my first seedlings I ever grew alive lmao!!

I experienced success growing only after I stopped following forum tips and instead read my first grow bible, it ws smooth sailing from there. room controls and garden habits, it aint rocket science. without proper controls all kinds of tricks and tips will appear for the asking. With proper controls those tricks and tips wont even be needed.
I have never met any home owner willing to pay for a worthwhile installation of a grow space. good luck with that

I like when new growers have attitude like you, they are much more successful on this site when they apply it properly as you did. Look forward to future conversations about growing. Listen to chemphlegm.

You on the other hand are out of line. He gives his time to help people, he is one of the smarter and better teachers on this site. His 1st statement you criticized was only trying to help.
