The first of my trichomes are beginning to change color to that amber. How long is the window, how long does it take for all the trichomes to change to the auburn?

Well, I would wait until at least half of the trichs are amber till you harvest. It really just depends on what you prefer.

cloudy trichomes are optimal, amber is over done... unless you are speaking of the pistils, in which case u want 50-70% change imo

I think about a week at most. Any mold issues? Are you in a dry or humid climate? The longer I waited (Just harvested on 9/29), the more I risked loss to mold. MD can be humid.

Tap into "Growing Marijuana- free library", Greenmans page. Full amber begins the decline of THC. Clear & cloudy- Up-lifting high. Amber, higher THC, more of a body high. I planned to take both from the same plant, but keep separate to test. I like the up-lift, personally.

You have a few weeks to go still. A Swollen seed sack will appear at the base of each of those hairs, and will fill with resin (instead of a seed, we hope!) keep it going
