Amending soil with tea

Has anybody used to tea in order to drop your ph a little. Im testing this on my aroogalas. Here that it works, but we will see

Just use fish fertilizer, like Alaska.

I do not have any experience with teas but any liquid that you put in the soil that is more acidic or basic then the soil, it will change it, at least temporarily.
