hi just wondering what would be better to do i have a 150 watt hps and a 250 watt im planning on doing 4 or 5 plants this time around. am i better off putting them together in a 5x4 cabinet that i have or do the 150 watt in a seperate 3x3 with 2 plants and the 250 watt in 5x4 with 2 plants, could it possibly bring the yeild up a bit with both lights together

seems to me that both lamps together would be better because the plants will be getting light from the other fixture they wouldn't otherwise be getting. Those lamps are not really big enough to cover the area of the individual cabs so if you can I'd do both.

put them together so all the plants can benefit from the maximum amount of light.
thanks all actually the 250 watt has the metal halide spicy. i was kinda thinking it was too big of a grow area anyways heat wont be a problem because i have a 4" inline fan and one of the cheap 4" intake fans. how much smaller do u guys think i should make the cabinet inside with the section shelf. the cabinet is actually 5 x 3 instead of 5 x4 should i just make it 4 by 3 or like 3x3 what do u think is a best for 400 watts

i was using a 400 and 250 in a 3.5 x 4 space wasnt enough.......
