Amp meter says I'm using 428 watts for 4 Cree cxb3070's

What could be happening here? Light seems to be at normal level maybe even a little dull no heat well hardly any heat with heatsinks cooled by fans, I'm sure the fans aren't using an extra 200 watts

What driver are you are you running them on? How are they wired?

must be a meter setting is wrong or even a bad meter.i doubt that drive is putting out over 200% power

Its alright everyone just calm down, calm down...For some reason i since i tested the wattage of the carbon filter fan (reading about 67 watts)then changed back again its reading only 209 watts thanks god if there is one.

i was calm throughout the whole process lmao but we are left wondering if your meter is broken or you just didnt know wtf you were doing hahaha

haha i was just fucking around with the calm down thing since i wasnt calm lol. but either my power meter is screwed or the carbon filter fan AND light fixture change power usage. keeps going back between 209 watts and 430, the carbon fan between 67 and 120 something. I guess its my meter as theres no excessive heat or light when it reads 430.

Stop blowing tokes on the meter,its prolly wasted from all the damn smoke
