Another recall.. They lied about CBD ... what else is new.

Emblem recall for mislabelling. Labels said high CBD but strains weren't. HC says this is a low risk recall.

Emblem recall less serious than it seems: jars mislabelled but patients got what they ordered because strains were not marketed as high CBD.

A Type III recall refers to a situation in which the use of, or exposure to a product, is not likely to cause any adverse health consequences.

In other words, they admit pot is not likely to cause adverse health consequences.

My question is. if hellth Canada is testing before sale why all the recalls and not just hold product until the tests pass instead of shipping it out to unknowning patients only to recall?

Is health Canada testing? As I understand, the LPs are testing their own product... kinda like telling the wolf to protect the hen house.

Hellth Canaduh does inspections, not testing. All LP testing is done in house, with most now using 3rd party verification as well.

Speaking of testing...has anyone found a lab that will test our homegrown flowers/extracts? Im looking for prices, and preferably something in the GTA.

They claim it is low risk.. If there are children who were using this for cbd's anti-seizure properties this kind of mislabeling could be really really bad for them.
Cannabis is the only medication where the companies selling it can lie about the % of active ingredient by a factor of like 20x and basically just say "my bad" with HC doing nothing about it.

It was a typo on the label. Patients weren't misled in any way. They knew they didn't buy high CBD, and didn't order High CBD.

the point was that they acknowledge POT HAS NO ILL EFFECT!!

They did, however they will also likely claim it to be a dangerous substance again before tomorrow.

No it was properly advertised and labeled at time of ordering, only the delivered container label was incorrect.
