for everyone its different just like their grow rooms and feed programs.

I recently took my savings and got certified myself to be legal. I know people making $7500 a month off just two patients 24 plants total. They harvest 8 plants every 5 weeks and they got 21 ozs from the last crop alone.

So lets say you have a perpetual garden and your maxed at 72 plants in Michigan, rotating 24 plants every 5 weeks and you yielded only 2 ozs a plant thats still 48 ozs every 5 weeks - the free oz a month to your 5 patients, your left with 43 ozs to donate to dispensary's at a wholesale cost of $3-350 an oz. You do the math. Thats $12,900 a month minus electricity, nutes and of course the initial start up costs at $300 an oz. There is money to be made in this new industry if its done right and the markets are not flooded with crap weed

Without getting too deep, DAMN. Some of you should be drug out into the street and shot. Yes caregivers do deserve compensation for their work, but not to the point of exploitation. Would a little compassion for someone or something other than your wallet kill you assholes?

Spoken like a true woe is me the world owes me a favor loser. You spend 10K on a grow room, and risk your liberty doing this for people, and see how you feel.

Drug into the street and shot....that's exactly why I carry at all times. Just for people like you.

Oh save your bullshit for the Ku Klux Kookout Adolf! First off, only a stupid ass inbred hick like you would spend $10k on a growroom as an initial cost. I'm glad that your elitist bitch ass has that kind of cash because God forbid you actually have to work for money like the rest of us. I mean shit. Have you ever heard of starting out small and then expanding as the need arises? Second off, as long as you are operating with in the limits of the law, YOU'RE NOT RISKING SHIT! Goddamn you're fucking stupid. And third, and I know it's a terrible strain for your tiny brain to try and count as high as 3, I never said that a care giver shouldn't get paid for their work. Read things and think about them before you go and make stupid ass comments you filthy piece of shit! The point I was trying to make, which so obviously has escaped your understanding, is that no one, this includes you, has the right to exploit the truly needy for their own gain. Damn, can I make this any clearer?

You obviously have anger issues and are a very unstable person. Grow up, get off your moms keyboard, and go to bed little child. You have school tomorrow, and it's past your bedtime.

My 4 year old has more controlled temper tantrums than you. Yikes.

I agree w/ bowlfullofbliss

You can't get anything productive or commercial going for under $2,000 and 10k is reasonable to start a business esp when your your own boss, Go try and franchise a McDonalds. I myself am tired of being laid-off and at the mercy of someone else or their decisions. I'm taking control of my own future, we all got to eat and make a living. a good caregiver, maxed out can do theoretically 100K + a year, minus overhead. It costs a lot of money to pay for nutes, setup and electricity, as well as having a secure location big enough to do it on top of the time it takes to maintain 72 plants, with monthly transplants and constant feed schedules its a lot of work, and obviously you don't have a clue that it is a full time job.

This is no longer a street corner business but a fast growing industry. By the time u buy buckets, timers, hangers, i hooks, ballasts, reflectors, panda paper or mylar, ventilation fans, ducting, carbon filters, zip ties, nutes and everything else you will easily spend a couple grand.

As an example.....I bought buckets online, and got a deal on them. The buckets and saucers alone cost $200+. Dan Halen the demand is here so why start small. Do you mean 1 light. How do you do a perpetual grow with 1 light and have the supply that's in demand let alone for 5 patients + most likely yourself.

We have all worked hard for a living, and some of us have decided to give this new Michigan opportunity a try and like myself I have spent a mjority of my savings. We risk having our ops busted because of bad search warrants or neighbors who notice somethings going on and the next thing you know all of the equipment is stolen. There is no exploitation. People set the market prices in whats its worth and their willing to pay. You should go smoke a joint or better yet take a Valium because your going to have a heart attack.

Some have issues with making money-- I am sick of being laid off in a business that has been good for yrs -- now it's too damn hard and the worries don't stop-- what is wrong trying to do something for yourself?? If you can produce a quality product that is I'm demand -- what is wrong with making cash off of your talent?? DONT HATE THE PLAYER-- step up your game!!!

The new law has kept me from leaving state and going to CO. I'm going to give it a good try for the next year and see where it takes me.

I'd like to be in on the start of a good trend and it seems like we might have something here. Especially with reciprocity with patients from other states, we could become a medical marijuana distination, an Amsterdam of the Midwest-so to speak. Anyone want to come to my cafe once it's legal?
