I see many pvc areo build but they seem to be for 20+ plants. Are there are good one for a smaller scale for something like 8 or so plants ?

Filthy's design looks great but i need something for more like 8 plants. The only reason i am rejecting the rubber maid bin's is because i think they will be using to much space in my limited area.

Well now that you have seen all of these designs,
you need to make your own hybrid design,
that will fit your space.

Get out some paper and draw it out a couple of times
and plan ahead.

Control heat, light, rez temp, air exchange,
changing the nutes, testing the pH,
adding pH adjuster,
height of lights, training plants.

Well i found the ideal design i was talking about but as usual it is expensive and if there was a diy on how to build one of these units it would be great!!! :joint: (10 site would be perfect)

you can make 8-14 sites....just gotta use certain sizes!

what size are you looking for?

lol I was about to say hell loud gave you both my how tos you just make it to the size you want adjust the post design it can be cut down and do 4 sites in each post so that 3 feet by 2 feet if even that. I tub setup can be smaller or bigger. The 8 site setups are only 33 inches long,15 inches tall and 19 inches wide.If you gotta go smaller then 8 plants will need to go itno the pvc post design if you want smaller use smaller res or a single aero bucket design and bucket netpot..pretty simple and real cheap..Hell give me the dimension you wann ahve one and I will custom build it for you a lot cheaper then those you posted in the pictures

I would love to have something like the 8 site much like the ones in the pic. In my closet i plan to grow in I have much more length than with so thats why i find these systems to appeal to me more.

I was wondering is there a mister for each pot net. What size res and pump would be good for the the 8 plant set up.

I started making a half assed desighn in ms paint

now i know the basic set up of this but things i am not sure of are things like dimensions and specs. Things like

the size of the drain and the size of the lines going from the drain
the size of the water pump
the size of the res
size of the piping between the res and misters
size of the fence post
distance between each potting net
how the misters are put in the fencing

and feel free to criticize my design :joint:

Depends on the particular setup. Misters can be bewteen netpots or directly under. Some setups use what are called laser drilled hole technology which is basically an angle drilled holw with a specific size or multiple holes that direct high pressure streams to designated areas. I sell and use both methods and direct drip setups. from 1 site ot however many you want in various designs.

The designs like above with the hose lines coming from the top via hose tend not to grow as good as misters under pots as the lower roots dont get covered as much and the watering starts up high so root development tends to be high and dont search out for the water as well and tend to make the overall growth slower

any pictures to see how the misters go into the fence post??

also how do the roots not cover the misters and prevent them from working?
