Any feedback on LP experiences?

I am getting more and more confused in trying to figure out which LP to go with.

I have one or two that I feel relatively good about but they aren't shipping product out yet.

I talked to Delta-9 and I can send my forms in there BUT they have a wait list that may or may not be 6 months (or longer).

Mettrum I could have product in a week or two but from what I am reading here, people don't tend to be happy with Mettrum.

It seems like so many of these LPs are not even ready, which makes me wonder why I bothered to do this right now. No point in my spending the money I did ($400) to get my forms done, and then have to wait 6 months or possibly longer, to get product.

There's some reviews up at www.liftmj.com, I'd have a look there. Haven't seen many good things about Mettrum, Tweed, or PNP, but have seen some positive reviews of Whistler and Tilray strains to name a couple. Unfortunately, for those need meds now, there isn't much of a selection as far as LP's that are currently accepting patients and have product available.

No strain reviews up there yet though.

Lol its a catch 22. How do you get users to use the site when you got no content while you need those users to submit content. I could go on a spamming spree but eh just build more hate towards the site plus some forums are quite anal about promos.

Well If I was to support any LP it would be smaller ones and not Tweed or Metrum. Don't care how good their products might be I'm have no desire to support vultures and people who twist flaunt regulations like with the bust in Kelowna. Look at the LP's that have not bs their way into the stock market and press releases on how rich they are about to get. Yes at the end of the day its business and its there to make money but there are limits to bs.

I JUST signed up with Tilray, and I really like it because you could do the application online and you only needed to print off or send one form.

Mettrum is currently out, or they were today.

I was thinking about using the Whistler one, but they only had 4 strains available and Tilray seemed to have more.

I also found the "Medical Marijuana Services" very helpful, and the people that work there are just fantastically nice and very patient.

I'm going through the same thing, only started this process a week ago.

Good luck!

I was just pointing out the fact that OP is looking for reviews to help decide on an LP, so he needs a site that currently has reviews.....nothing against your site my man. :)

Whatever you do, DO NOT go with Peace Naturals Project!!! They are the absolute worst. Their product sucks & it's literally impossible to place an order without losing your mind. For a solid month, they had nothing but one strain at 9% THC & the past week.......absolutely zero of anything!!!! How they are even allowed to operate is beyond me. If you pay them by credit card, your able to order on-line, but, if you are covered, you play the 7 hr wait game for a return call, which usually means they are now out of anything worth while. I've been hearing really things about Tilray. Good-luck!!!

I went with Tilray finally! My favourite part is the online form that you can send via e-mail to the doctor. Every other application had between 5 - 7 pages to print out.
Save tree's - go with Tilray!

Yes, nice feature for sure.
Didn't MMS recommend Tilray ?

It may have been one of them, but I chose Mettrum first because they were cost-effective. Then a friend recommended "Tilray".

You know what, I just finally decided (for now, at least) and registered online with Tilray and was thinking how great it was that I could do the forms online.

I do think I will change over to Organigram later but I don't want to wait a couple months and then only have access to one strain at first, etc... Tilray is the only company I've been able to find reviews on (I've checked LiftMJ but must not be looking in the right area) and so far the only negatives I've seen are the prices. I only need a low dose so I think I can live with it and after a year will see what my options are then and if I want to stay with Tilray or go somewhere else.

Just curious, did the place that did your forms for $400 recommend an LP?

Yes, they said they recommend Mettrum because they have stock and the product is really good blah blah. They did say Mettrum had just let them know they were nearly full and would only take new people until yesterday.

I came online and did my research and saw that most people aren't happy with Mettrum. I wonder if they and Mettrum are giving each other kickbacks for referrals. Both are in Toronto so I would suspect they might at least know each other.

I asked about Tilray and they said they hear good things about Tilray but it's more expensive.

Yeah, unfortunately, you only have 4-5 options based on LP's that currently have product to sell and are accepting patients. I've heard nothing but horror stories about PNP and Tweed, and haven't seen too many poisitive things about Mettrum. Based on the reviews I've read, Whistler and Tilray seem to have the happiest patients so far, so I've been recommending patients look at those options if they need an LP and medicine right away.

Actually it was "Devil's Lettuce" that recommended it! Thank you DL!!!
I hope you are happy with them :) If for whatever reason you are not, you will be able to switch it up down the line as more LP's hit the market and there is a greater selection. You can also set it up so that you split your prescription between two different LP's if you want to try someone else out in the future.

The prices are exactly why I wanted to go to Mettrum (they were cheap and offered a discount for lower-income people or people in a social assistance program).

10 bucks a gram are the same as strret prices in Thunder Bay (which I think has the most expensive pot in the world - like 300/ oz). But for the conveince, and the fact that I don't have to worry about getting busted by the coppers for taking the only thing that makes me feel better - I'll pay!
