never heard of time released water, care to explain? it sounds interesting since I plan on taking a little vacation soon.

The reason the first two nodes don't have any fan leaves is because they burned off from a nitrogen overdose, which is still a problem as you can see by the yellowing leaves. Yeah... sorry about stretching the page guys.

Wow you got some great node action. i am glad i asked for a picture,
with this type of early growth you dont need to top!

you want to slow upwards growth, take that fat little stem and shock it, you want to crush it gently, (you want it to support the top but have to repair itself)

now if i was going to top that plant it would be 3 nodes from the top where it twists and clone the top.

what kind of light are you using, at first glance i call it a male !

I need to do that, seeing as this is my ONLY plant. IT would suck fat balls it it turned out to be male. btw this is a Chrystal plant (NL X WW). I havent started to flower yet so I don't think it has any preflowers. I'm using a 400w metal halide for veg and a 400w hps for flower.

clone it, and sex it. i based my guess on the tall thick stalk with little side branching i a currently sexing this strain. i will be sure to spot light the buds as they start forming. not even i was able to achive node spacing that tight. my chrystal is a tall girl, she streches out alot under hps

After taking cuttings....Do they need to be fully rooted to flower the cuttings to determine sex? Or can you cut....put into rockwool (or whatever) and put them on 12/12 immediately?

Yay something I do know the answer to. You can do either as it will root in either condition. but if you want ot use it as a separate plant and not just as a sex indicator then putting it in veg for a week first is a good idea.
