Any one got a RDWC/UCDWC guide with out using uniseals

Decided to cut my losses after wasting $150 trying to make uniseals work.
First off had round buckets, Leaked very badly.
So bought another set of square ones. Leaked just as badly.
So got under sized hole saw and bought another set of square buckets, No difference at all. (leaking between bucket and seal)
Tried using some sealant, and lasted for a day before leaking just as badly and ended up killing my pump from it running dry.

So does any one have a link to a guide that uses proper seals instead of rubbish?

Yup. my entire system was built without uniseals. Just buy 1" & 1/2" grommets/tubing and all the according elbow, tees, "Y"s, and straight barbed fittings and get drilling holes in buckets! :D20160526_105535.jpg

bulkhead fittings on a flat surface is way better than uniseals. one nick/cut/kink in a uniseal and as you found out, FUBAR.

they are pricier but they work.

Found a guide using scew on fittings.
So picked up some of these.


A hour so far and no leaks.
Wish I went with these in the first place instead of falling for the BS the uniseal rep was telling me. He is refusing to refund me on them as well now when original said he would if they continued to leak even with sealant (which he suggested to use). His excuse for no refund is they have sealant on them.

Bulkheads work too. grommets and Sttaught fittings is simple too. but Bulkheads are like $3 a piece. but it'd be nice to have that smoother surface on the inside of the bucket rather than a straight fitting going through, protruding out both sides like mine.

Local shop (Bunnings).
24 hours no leaks but have 1 more issue now.
First bucket after the pump level is quite a bit higher then the rest so ill have to link another return line from that to the 4th bucket and should keep them all close to the same level.
