any tips on making plants more potent

any tips on how to make my plants more potent,ive pulled 4 plants
2xthcbomc
1xmazar
1xnorthernlight
hang dryed and then cured for a week and smoked but they turned out really weak
ive spent over £600+ on bits and bobs
my setup
adwa ph pen
adwa ec pen not used as yet due to using soil
carbonfilter
fan temp controller
de-humidifier
biobizz nutes/soil
600w sunmaster/cooltube setup with grow tent
extract/inlet fans
plugin thermostat/tubeheater for nighttime set & 75 starting using as ov 2day
11litre pots
fresh air from outside via a vent in bedroom
humidity 35-60 mostly around 40
temps set at around 82 day night 65+ only just got tube heater hoping to get up to 75
plants looked really healthy so whats up plz oh was first grow
water/nutes ph 6.5

They look the part. I'm only about 5 days into my first grow, so I'm no expert.

But what I've read is its all depends on the timing of when you harvest. Too early or too late and the THC levels aren't going to be too high. I know with White widow andyway... that there is a 5-10 day period that THC levels are at the highest.

But as I said I'm only a learner, but maybe one of the pro's here can correct me and give you better advice.

If you harvested at the right time, and cured properly, the plant will be as potent as the seeds you bought allow them to be. THC content is generally a genetic thing, not much you can do to increase it. I recommend changing seed companies. NL should be plenty strong enough.
If you want to play around with a few grams, try water curing a couple grams. Just place it in a bowl of water. fill up with 3 times the water weight of the bud, be very gently with your nuggets. Each day change the water, again very gently. Change the water daily for 7 days. Then, at the end of the 7 days you can dry it in a food dehydrator or on some tinfoil on the back of a tv or computer. Dry until your desired consistency is met.
Second option is just bake your current product (only a few grams to test) Bake at 200F for like 15-20 minuts. This will help convert the unactivated THC unto available thc.

yeah I would suggest looking at you trichomes ( im new too so this is just my opinion) to make sure you harvest at the right time different plants have different harvest times some 8 weeks ive seen some say as long as 14 weeks. but the trichomes will tell you when there are ready. and it could be genetics if the mother wasnt all that potent she probably wont be either

thanks for replies guys guess i need to find something else to grow

all my plants went over stated time seed company states
my powerskunk states 8-9 weeks im on more like 10-11 weeks still no sign of amber trics

any suggestions on a good yeilding strong plant with good genetics probably go attitude seeds this time rather than marijuana nl
