Anyone Ever Grown Poppy Plants for Opium?

A friend was telling me about growing my own opium
I was wondering how different things were from growing pot, cause i already have a growbox setup for that.
Any help would be appreciated, i have no clue about this.

it takes a certain kind of poppy, the gooks in my neighborhood grow them behind they're trailers. and I stole a bunch last week we had about 46 seed heads, about half are drying and the other half we made into a kindof poppy seed pod mint and coleus tea and i felt.... something. i mean the poppys bled hard>like that

and the tops have to look like this and not be fuzzyotherwise poppys are pretty hardy plants but i think youd be better off growing some pot as opium isnt all that great.
