Back in 89 I read Robert Clarke's Marijuana Botany. It had a chapter on training plants and i needed stealth to hide my clone so I tied her down behind some staked tomatoes in my garden. Clear fishing line tied to fish hooks wrapped in electrical tape did the trick. I tied the other end to old tent stakes hammered into the earth. This also has worked great every fall around my patio. A yearly ritual I have grown to love. When they are low to the ground mixed in with the box woods, azaleas and the rest of the landscaping visitors will walk right by without noticing. The trick is to hook her near the top and bend her over to half her height on a north/south axis. In a couple of hours the plant will reorient itself and face the sun. This exposes the entire plant to the sun increasing yield. Much less of the plant is shaded by its own leaves and very little leaf pinching is required. Each branch turns into a "donkey dick" or looks like a main cola. I live at 37 degrees north latitude and these are always late plantings for stealth. Seeds are germinated early August up to Aug. 24th (at the latest) with supplemental light at night until they outgrow their solo cups which is 10-12 days. OH, and the clone I put out Aug 1st in the "tomato garden" ended up yielding 9 zips at the end of Oct. Very little work for a half pound. Any way i cant imagine what a monster you could grow (especially in a legal state) by using this method from say early June until harvest.
