They used to sell these things at Wal-Mart and Home Depot...places like that. I don't think they do anymore, but I believe they still carry the replacement bulbs. Either way, you can order them online still, even amazon has some. They go from somewhere between 20-40 bucks, and the replacement bulbs are almost as much I think.

Anyway, they are outdoor lights like the ones on the sides of big buildings. They're supposed to take the place of a 500w MH fixture and only use 65w. I think they are some kind of high output cfl, like the t5 HOs only in cfl form, but thats just my guess.
So, I'm thinking these things should be awesome for vegging, it should be like having one of those high-powered grow cfls only not so pricey.
