anyone go from not using chiller to using one?

Have a look at small aquarium chiller sizing apps or there are some great apps for grow room chillers as well but not sure they cover something that small. You could probably get away with a water cooler and circulating water through the small res.

Hi all sorry to butt in on this thread but I thought this was the best place to ask the question I have just installed a chiller to my system but stupidly I have bought a chiller to small for the system I am running rdwc so I have added a few 2 litre water Bottles to each pot to take up water volume so the chiller is actually chilling less water but it is still struggling but I think my mistake is that I have filled all the water bottles with water which in turn are heating up and then the water chiller is trying to cool the water inside the bottles with the water that is circulating around the system if that makes sense my question is what other material could I possibly fill the water bottles with that won't conduct heat thanks all hope some one can help

You should insulate your RDWC.
