hey guys, I live in Socal and im wondering how north cal are able to grow such huge plants when everything flowers instantly here, year round. People have said june/july will veg but my plants still started flowering in those months. Im wondering whats central cal like? Anyone growing in southern or central cali Id love to hear your methods.

The picture doesn't really look like it's flowering to me. Seeds shouldn't flower outside anytime after april until later in the year...pre flowers are normal but they shouldn't cluster

I live/grow in the valley put my seeds directly into the ground usually Easter weekend never had any issues except ( always an exception) last year a White Widow went straight from veg to flower not sure if it needed to be started later or something else. Other than that one time it's all been good.

should I even bother with vegging inside and flowering outside? Does that cause any stress to the plants?

It's all about size. If you have laws restricting plant count and want plants as big as possible, the way to do that is to veg inside for a couple months before coming outside in the Spring. If size isn't a major concern, start your seeds in the sunshine.

Done right, going from vegging inside to natural light shouldn't stress a plant.

yea, Im limited to 6 mature plants in my county (even if you are a caregiver) . But this part annoys me for the amount of dried marijuana that you are allowed to keep " whatever amount of marijuana is necessary for their personal medical use". also If your selling to a dispensary as a caregiver, I wonder if all the dispensaries patients count as your patients? Who knows

Some folks start indoors some like me just put the seed in it's forever spot. I use to do the transplant method but found I prefer handling them as little as possible. This was a personal choice due to RA making it difficult to do things by hand. I don't know if it helps the plant one way or another since both ways worked out just fine for me.IMG_0077.JPG
