Anyone Growing Captain/Capn Style?

good method
in my experience the bennies are pretty useless

I prefer to save money for nutrients and run to waste.
Plants will like a low EC anyways, 400ppm nutrients is usually plenty

also, in my experience, doing 1 large watering of 15 minute (like cap) is inferior to watering 15 times a day 1 minute

Once well adjusted, you won't ever see a deficiency

There also an improvement for using it in see of green, that will allow us to skip on the manual presoaking of all the flock.
With larger pots and a lot of flock, watered from the top with a pair of PC drippers per crate

Dutch do this a lot for flawless highscale

And do not go with the rockwool "croutons"
Price is crazy high

This is the right medium for it, but it is f*cking hard to find

In swiss for exemple, the 25 kilo (440liter) bales are only 90 euros

I made a few trials years ago to produce some, from slabs
First by hand with a big ass knife, this a lot of work but it works
(respiratory mask imperative!!)

Then I tried with a small branch shredder but results were disappointing

This medium can be reused pratically infinite
