right...musket balls... you are mistaken on the standard issue rifle for the average soldier. excluding special forces...wiki ...you load from the muzzle . I have seen so many re enactments its not funny...wiki wiki wiki

That's correct. The Springfield .58 was the most common rifle, but it was still firing a Minie ball though.

That's how my area is with the Rev War. NJ has pretty much all of the battles we won.
