Anyone try a Spectrum King 400?

Thing sounds great 400 watts and suppose to throw more light than a 1,000 watt HPS. just $1,295 is a little bit of money but worth it really if she keeps up with a 1,000 watt for yield and quality less then half the wattage and 5 year warranty no need to change bulbs.

Really sounds too good to be true just only seen Remo use it on youtube did nice but he could have just moved the plant under it.

Dont waste your money. That wil replace a 400 watt hid, but not a 1000w hps let alone the double end hps in a good reflector.

I've talked to them, very hush hush about the components utilized which makes it rather difficult to find their efficiency.

Not to mention that head pipe based heatsinks don't work as well with led lights. As tested by supraSPL

Those lights aren't worth the pricetag, you could do a lot better with DIY or area 51 / optic lighting they seem to be the top dogs right now. Good luck on your adventure!
