I was lookin around for a new lightin system and i decided on a cooltube so i bought myself a bake-a-round on ebay and im gonna build it myself. I stumbled upon these lights from htg supply and thought they may be perfect for a cooltube! Scince i wont have any reflector i would love to use one of these if they actually work the way they said it does.. any opinions guys? http://htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=47682

It looks okay - only 10% better than a standard 400 watt hps for almost 3x the money. I can get a standard one for less than $20.00 at Home Depot.

So you don't need a reflector........ sounds good but has anyone here tried one.Quote"and since there is no standard reflector to trap in heat, growers can place this bulb much closer to their plants"........Sounds great if it really works.....anyone tried this???????????

I would use a batwing on your cooltube instead. The price of this isn't in line with the potential benefit.
