Anyone using RX Green Solutions?

Anyone using their 2 part grow/bloom? I decided to make the switch from Fox Farm hydro nutes (finally) and my local shop suggested either AN conni or this "new" product RX line cloning and nutrient lineup. Had never heard of them before. The owner has been using AN but started using the RX Grow A/B and said he got great results but hadn't tried the bloom formula yet cause he was doing good with the AN conni bloom. I took a chance and got the whole lineup so I guess I'm the guini pig. Haven't seen any reviews online yet but I'm a month in veg with some gifted sage and sour fem beans.

I'm guessing no one has used these nutes yet, I'll do a review after my grow. It looks like this is the only company other than advanced that has a R&D facility to test their stuff on cannabis. I can say that using their Axiom foiler spray you can see an immediate difference in the plants, I used what was left over on my vegetable garden and container flowers and they liked it too.

Interested but have only used their "Lower" How much longer until you flip? Are you using any additional additives? Are you planning to post pics?

I had to go out of town for a bit so I flipped them before I left. I got two sage n sours that needed at least a week longer in veg, their being scrogged in a 4x4 tent under 1k. I just got some new equipment so I'm experimenting with what works best with the bigger space I have with more light and co2. I may open a new thread for this grow if I'm going to post pics but I have also started using some of my fox farm bloom booster (open sesame) since I have a crap load left still. Rx says you'll get great results without additives they carry a two part grow and bloom and a foiler spray that's it. They appear to have humic acids , amminos vitamins and other biostimulants in their formula.

I bet they did because of the ridiculous price of that piss water, tell them to fuck off. ;)
Haha, I haven't used AN before so the only opinion I can have of them is from their sleazy advertising practices. We have a new hydro store that just opened and is run by real MJ growers that were tired of being ripped off by the only store in town, after they started getting inventory in they told me how jacked up the other stores prices were. These new guys have lowered the prices so AN is almost the same as GH or FF. But a lot of growers here have said they got got good results with AN but I think their defiant ely overpriced and overhyped, watered down , I don't know only 4ml per gallon.

Compare the PPM of 4ml/L to other brands @4ml/L and you will see it is pisswater.

Thx for the reply. I personally use House and Garden minus a few items with my own twist. I'm sure there are cheaper products that work just as well that's why I'm following. But as the ole saying goes, "If it ain't broke don't fix it." The thing that I wondered about RX Solutions is most nutrient programs tell you to back off the nutes the last three weeks and RX just keeps getting stronger. Anyone know why they would do that?

I've been using fox farm hydro nutes originally for some time now with good results, but being scienticly minded I wanted to really understand what the nutrients and supplements we're actually doing so I've been doing a lot of studying this year, scientific articles etc......nutrients and nutrient companies get brought up all the time on these forums so I was really motivated to seperate the bs marketing from horticultural science. I read a lot if people saying "plants don't care what nutrients you give them" or statements to that effect. I will pay more for higher quality nutrients, use the right nutrient FORM for the specific stage of life the plant is in, utilize biostimulants and natural chelates for better nutrient uptake. That's part of the reason I wanted to change up my nutrient regamine and give RX a try. I could buy bulk soluble powders at this point and custom mix my feedings but I also appreciate the convienance factor of two part bottles :)

To answer your question I'm not sure why the dosage increases in their schedule, from what I understand a little bit if nutrient stress in the flowering stage helps encourage antioxidant production and essential oils where nitrogen toxicity in veg stage can actually prevent flower production. The CEO of rx had told me their nutrients have a low salt content so it would be harder to burn the plants

Hey seriously though thanks for the input. One of the things that interested me was the "ph perfect" part of AN, I have extremely good well water but it has high alkalinity so when I was doing DWC I was always adjusting my ph. Now that I'm experimenting with soiless I'm trying to find a local source of RO or distilled water. I travel out of town enough that it effects my crop cycles so I'm trying to automate my system enough that 2weeks away won't be detrimental.

I use RX Green. I am currently in Veg and I have started with 1.5 ml Part A and B (in a gallon) my next feed was 2.5ml Part A and B. Along with calimagic, silica blast, and sone microbial root stuff. The pics are from 15 days since sprout. I will see how it fares as time goes along. Its been 2 days sinxe the second nute feed in the pics.

I found the RX feed schedule to be pretty accurate, however I still like to ad a little PK boost, especially usefull for me in early flower, seems to tame the stretch on those sativa doms

Check out my sage n sour grow journal, I'm about 2 weeks away from harvest

PK Boost? What line or items do you use to achieve it?
I'm using fox farm "solubles" line, open sesame, beastie bloomz, cha ching...A little dab will do ya! That stuff is hot but works for me. I bought the large tubs before I saw they have smaller versions so now I have about 5 years worth. You definitely don't need them for a good grow though

Ok. I want as good of a grow as I can get, ya know? I have already put thousands of dollars and untold hours into this, i might as well do it as best as I could.

Do you see a noticeable difference with the pk boost than without it?

I use the open sesame about a week before I flip my lights, this lets the plants start to store up PK so by the the time you flip they have a head start, the boost in PK also "tells" the plants to stop putting energy into creating vegetative growth and start producing fruit/flowers which is why you get less stretch. I have noticed budding develops up to a week faster using open sesame. I haven't run any side by sides with the same strains to test the other products but you can research the studies on other crops with regards to extra P&K during flower. Some people don't like using these products due to harsh flavors in the end product but I haven't had any problems as long as I stop using them before my flush. I'm sure there are plenty of posts on this site for/against PK boosters and it also makes a difference if your running organic or not. There are a lot of BS additives and there are some really good "non-essential" elements like bio-stimulants that can increase nutrient uptake, health and yield.

Think of it like buying performance car parts, some products may only give you a 5% boost in Horse power which you might not notice in a dodge neon but bolt that on a Charger and it will make a bigger difference. You have to have your room and strains dialed in to reap the benefits of certain additives, CO2, lights etc.

And some people grow dank with dirt, water and sunlight :)
