I am currently shopping 4×4 tents and lights. I am liking the Viparspectra 900 LED. Does anyone have any experience with this unit?

I have the 400 it works well in veg blew my 300 mars out of the water. But I know from experience the cheaper leds like these ones are not so good for flower. I can't afford the $1,000 for a high end one yet but plan to buy from timber as the one guy said. I have done my research and bang for buck timber is the way to go

Well, my 1st choice is the mars 1200. I'm looking to set up my first indoor grow in a 4×4 tent in the next few weeks. I just started looking at at LEDs, but the Mars sounded nice. They have flowering issues?

Much more than the mars 1200 and my old lady will start to chirp. This has been long fought for and any upgrades will need to be "earned". That said, if things don't flower as advertised with the mars then I can always go the MH/hps route. The guy at the local hydro shop pointed me towards LEDs. He also told me to buy online and I would save much money over what he could do for a top to bottom setup. So, here I am

have you considered a 315 lec ? I finally got a cob led & had same complaint from wife about the outgoing cash I finally ended up going with a Johnson 6- cob light from ledgrowlightdepot.com & put it on a futurpay account & $25.00 a month it was real easy to do I've got a friend who bought 2 vipar spectra 1200s he is not happy with them especially after seeing bud production from the cobs & as others have stated timber has the frame series lights for a tad bit more if you buy cheap led & it's junk you replace it with whatever then final cost would be about the same as the led you wanted in the first place 6 months ago I was in the position you are in now I don't regret getting what I really wanted cob leds workIMG_0310.JPGIMG_0313.JPGIMG_0707.JPG
