I'm an inexperienced grower lets just state that first.

I recently transplanted my peat pellets into 2, 2 gallon buckets (4 per bucket) and within the first few days noticed stretching, so those who see pics (when I get em up) will notice the plant shot up (bout 2inch). Currently I'm running 2 CFLs (will upgrade soon) one in a shop lamp reflector, the other in an old desk lamp. One in reflector is 48w(=150w) & desk lamp is 28w(=100w).

Positioned in a closet, plants will be 2 weeks old this Sunday (from germination).

Don't know strain, just random seeds from a couple good bags of mid grade.

Using Miracle grow fertilizer. Nice and green leaves under a 24/0 light cycle, thinking of trying the Low Stress Training in one pot, and letting them grow naturally in the other.

Tomorrow I will buy another shop lamp + reflector and another 48w CFL, leaving a shop light a pot.

Day 14 of Vegetative growth -

Talked to a buddy of mine who also is growing and knew the exact date my first sprouts came out...this will be day 14 since they sprouted. (He remembered because we moved his week old plants the day before.)

As you can see in the pics bucket 1 (under the shop lamp & 48w CFL) are growing at a much faster rate than bucket 2 (under makeshift reflector & a 28w CFL) Bucket 2 had a lil surprise for me today though..

Came home to find that another sprout had come up...but wait...how did this happen?...two inches underneath one of my other plants (of whom's roots had not broken the peat pellet yet) I found another seed...apparently somehow dropped in soil...it was much much further behind the other plants...so I killed it off...to keep them pretty much on same rate of growth...

You'll notice in bucket 1 a plant is bent over next to one of the others...this was because of a snap in the stalk (stupid me dropped a screwdriver while mounting a light better) I decided just to tie it over and let the plant repair the spot since tying in back up seemed risky with the damage done. Luckily it recovered in a few days and now is the second strongest plant.

Stretching did occur early, as mentioned in post above...one stalk in bucket two shot up an additional 2 inches during reflector build (took a few days to search round house for parts). That stalk was tied down against the ground in bucket two and hasn't stretched considerably since reflector was put in.

Any comments or questions, or advice appreciated.

Bout to transplant the plants in bucket #1 to two different buckets to allow for more root growth and managibility w/ plants. Big difference in growth this week, will post pics after transplant.

Ok so bucket one had a massive death..root rot every one...it was a quick death. But bucket two lived on. I vegged it till early this month two came out males. 2 females.

One is bushy as a mofo, I've had outdoor growing friends tell me they've had 6 ft plants with not even half the bush to theirs mine has. I never topped, found the slowth in growth to be impractical since I wanted a quick grow. Ended up using 6 CFLs 1 of the 150 watt equiv. and the others just 28w CFLs. The other female is not as bushy, but had a rough start from the beginning.

Female number one I low stress trained, she'd prolly be 2.5 feet tall straight, but instead in bent over then led like a snake. Her undergrowth shot up during month 2 of veg. And I mean shot up, I have branches longer than the stalk itself flowering out very very nicely now.

After pot number 1 died, I replanted two seeds about May...they are only a foot tall a piece but after checking (first check of the week) they too are females, I can only wonder what four small (foot-3foot) tall females just thrown into flowering 2 weeks ago are gonna yield.

I didnt transplant the 2nd pot for 3 months, and when I did a friend (and local horticulturist) helped me transplant and he said I still had plenty of room left for roots in the current pots, but we transplanted them into a 10 gallon cooler and they still thrive, here are some current pics.

They were moved from the location of the original pics due to a slight scare we had with a relative coming over a little to often, I know I need mylar or something, but my next grow (starting it soon) is in the original grow room and it will be lined with mylar and since I'm on a budget and stuff, prolly just adding a 50-70w HPS to the light system. Dunno yet, its all in the makings.
