Are Fungus Gnats An Issue After Moving Them Outside??

I had a early stage/case of Fungus gnats before moving them outside planting them in ground.
I had no signs of larvae yet that I could tell but I heard Gnats are really only an in issue inside
So my question is Should I Still treat my soil for gnats and larvae or not stress about it and let mother nature take care of them for me ??

Put a layer of sand on top of the soil. you can treat them but as long as you let the soil dry out a bit they should go away. they like wet soil.
