Are Hermie seeds worth saving?

Do Hermie seeds become hermie plants? I just bought some very bad weed again(that's why I'm growing my own) since my not-so-little weed plant is still 4 weeks away from being done. I found a total of 22 seeds in the bag. It pisses me off, really! BUT the good news is I have some seeds for next year. Are they good to use or are they all going to be hermies?

You might as well chance it, as far as I know any sex could come from seeds, the only definite way to grow a female is to clone a female plant

Thanks Helvete. I thought I had heard someone here say that hermie seeds will become hermie plants. I'm glad it's not true.

I woujld keep them and plant them... but suposedly if it was a male that turned hermie. it will have seeds that willbe 90% male. and if its a female the same chances are it will be hermie... why not female? I dont know... ... feminized seeds come from hermies... but they do fancy shit...

Yes, hermie seeds do become hermie plants... see if you have 1 plant that hermies and your other plants get polinated by it, you can plant the seeds from the other plants, but if you have a hermie that polinates its self, you will grow plants full of seed... but you can get this stuff put out by dutch master... its called reverse, you have to use it with there penetrator.. that stuff will kill the male flowers on hermie plants that way they never polinate them selves.... there slogan is "ever wonder how they make seedless watter melons?" i have afreind who used it with flying colors its good stuff for use with hermie seed... other wise.. your just asking for a mess.... your better off just taking the time to do it right and raise a good mom... thats what i;m in the process of doing.... i hate hermie seeed! if you don't use the reverse stuff, you will get male flowers... see they use hermies to make feminised seed... feminised seed is basicly a hermie that knocked up a stable female... but you have the hermie genetics still... alot of feminised stuff tends to hermie.... i hate hermies! i'd rather have gnats... haha:peace:

practice cross breeding. if you have more than one plant pollinate one. then keep the seeds and see what the percentage is on how many females vs males vs hermies. i think it would be quite a surprise on how many females you get. thats all the seed banks do. but they add somethin to the plant to up your chances of more females and less hermies
