Smoking pot got to the point where I had to have it every day when I reached a certain point of loneliness. When I have someone to hang out with (g/f, family, friends who don't smoke) my void is filled. All other times I have a void I need to fill and the best answer to this problem was marijuana. This in turn led me to wasting a lot of time, for example when I start smoking I don't stop for the rest of the day and I don't want to leave my room, or see anyone.

Now I am back with my parents for the summer (college kid), so I had to give it up cold turkey. No i'll effects other than the first night I could never sleep, but after that everything has been great. I love going back to my apartment and sparking up after a couple weeks off of it, smoke one bong load and I'm in the clouds :eyesmoke:

Let's just say that the days I don't have zoloft and pot in me are days I am ready to blow my brains out. Manic Depression, anxiety, pain, and nausea all treated by pot.

I think it depends on where you are in your life. if marijuana ever meant losing a job, or someone you love then cannabis is not worth it. When I first got my medical marijuana card I had crushed my knee and broken my leg in a bad snowboarding accident when I was unemployed. The surgery set me back a cool $30k so in that period I couldn't go a few hours without it. The anxieties of 4 months of not walking, getting a job in a shitty economy to pay off the $30 grand and the fact that all the painkillers were making me noxious. At that point in time I did need it for pain and for my sanity. If it using marijuana doesn't cost you anything either because of the nature of your lifestyle or because you have nothing to lose then go ahead and use it. That's why in partnership I help operate MrBuds Cannabis Delivery wher MMJ patients can get the medication they need to help ease the anxiety of every day life or extraordinary pain. Medical marijuana works and no one should deny themselves a solution based on a schedule 1 myth or the status quo.

Since this is supposed to be an honest conversation place, I ask all of you to contemplate this question:
Are you dependent on Marijuana to get you through the day?
Could you just quit and walk away?
Since this is an anonymous poll, feel free to be honest. Comment is welcomed.

I recently stopped partaking for two months because my spouse was looking for a job. She wanted to be clean for any tests, and I wanted to have some solidarity with her. I had no problem stopping for a while. No 'withdrawal' or other issues--- watching lame movies was a lot less interesting, though.

Even though I get high most nights, I'm pretty much a light-weight. I will have just one or two vape hits (also sharing a hits with the spouse-- gotta love THC conservation!).

I am a fully dependent marijuana user. I have no medical license for it (hard to get in canada believe it or not) but use it to treat tourettes, IBS and anxiety. I go way above and beyond medical dosage usually though, for fun. Funnily enough only powerful sativas really have what it takes to manage my anxiety. The weed that makes everyone else paranoid calms me down.

I COULD quit. But why would i? Weed doesn't hurt you, but stress does! Stress is a killer. I look younger than a lot of people my age, and i think that's because i don't stress over things like they do.

Could take it or leave it.

I find that cannabis has an amazingly wholesome effect on my life, and as long as it remains a means to an end, and not an end unto itself, I will continue to partake. But I know from previous experiences of abstaining from it, that I can live without it and will if its' costs ever outweigh its' benefits.

I pretty much only smoke weed with friends or if i cant fall asleep, otherwise i find it way more fun to grow it. Ever since i started blazin i have never felt the need or desire to smoke i just do when i can cus its mad fun.

iv had no withdrawl the few times i quit once for 2 years and i dont think about it when im not smoking but its a much safer alternative to the pills id have to take to sleep and i dont wake up feeling like shit also im not a nice drunk so for recreation or medicine its just an obvious choice that its best for me
