Ok im trying to get an idea how everyone is doing on bloom times across the map.

Im in Oregon, the valley, and my plants just now starting push into bloom transition, still not officially flowering yet. Thats as of 8/5/16

A camera flash is not going to hurt yield. Lol. It just won't. Won't cause hermied plants either.

Pin hole leaks can cause hermied plants but usually not with good genetics.

Stars, moon light, head lights, etc.

I've grown near street lamps. All kinds of conditions.

Not really here to argue about.

My point being that a quick flash from a camera won't hurt them a bit. It takes longer than that to build up hormones.

Granted I want it is dark as possible but I just wouldn't worry about a quick flash of light. I wouldn't even worry if my timer broke and went back to veg for a day or two.
Measure the light, bro. I've got plants flowering less than 10' away from 600W MH.

I follow your thread, but I have a memory like a steel trap. A little rusty and about half sprung. What crosses are you making this year?

This year is a small year because of new location ang getting the seedlings sprouted by the beginning of July I havent been able to do my regular thorough pheno search but i have a couple nice phenos that i did luck out with, with
such a small selection.
Ill be crossing an Afghani male with fast flowering traits to a Strawberry cough
Also pollinated a nice Strawberry Cough girl with an awesome Blueberry.

Sounds like some good crosses. Most of mine are intra strain, but I did get a little new blood in the mix this year.

Nice pics, thanks for replies yall. I finally have sum much nicer pics to show. Scope how pink n purple the pistils are on my purple kush plant...

And here are my two cheese autoflowers... I harvested my other autos last month

Its comical reading stuff like taking pics at night can stress your plant, touching the plant will ruin it etc etc. I swear people like that cant have any experience so no way do they grow. Cannabis is far from being a hard plant to grow

My location is NW Georgia:
Plant 1 (bag seed strain that I topped it at the sixth node in late May and it is still over 7 ft/2 m tall) germinated March 29, started flowering last week (appox Aug 5)

My Pineapple TrainWreck was looking great until yesterday when I noticed balls all over the plant, now it is in the compost pile...
Just a suggestion ; you can get high grade genetics shipped to your door from herbs headshop, attitude seedbank and simular seedbanks. Ship to anywhere in usa. I used have order all time before recreational became legal here. Now i buy them from dispensery or farm direct :)

Its still early but there is definately a dominant berry smell to it maybe not blueberry in particular but i see as it goes on. Ill do a more thourogh scent i.d. tomorow on it. Im blown away by it though. Very happy.
Im curious as to the outcome aswell. Ive wanted to grow dj short bb for the longest time. Its number 1 on most wanted list but hard find the seeds/cuts
